View Full Version : As a Lebron fan it hurts to admit this...

but the Raptors have got me shook. :(

This Toronto team is for real, and features 2 of the league's biggest stars in Derozen and Lowry. They have shed their playoff demons and appear poised to advance to the Finals, and possibly win it all. Make no mistake Lebron is going to be in for the fight of his life, and I'm not sure he can pull it off with the Cavs lacking in experience. If he even manages to force this series to a 7th game his legacy will get a SIGNIFICANT boost.

I was hoping for the Cavs to try their best against us in the finals again, but now I'm rooting 100% for the raptors after reading this bullshit :lol

This is arguably the biggest playoff matchup of LeBron's career. If he somehow someway manages to defeat this great opponent I believe this would catapult him to top 2.

As a Raps fan, nope, Cavs will win in 5 max.

Raptors aren't terrible like they've seemed in the playoffs when US actually watching, but they need to play to full potential every game to win, and they have been horribly inconsitant all playoffs, and are injury ridden.

Cavs have one all-star.
Raptoprs have two all-stars.

This could catapult LeBron.

So I guess Wade's legacy got a SIGNIFICANT boost. How he managed to push that juggernaut to 7 games without Bosh and Whiteside and with 2 rookies playing big minutes is remarkable. Legendary stuff.

Agreed.

Not to mention, the Raps won the season series 2-1. They have the edge in almost everything. Talent-wise, coaching, two all-stars to one, etc.

If LeBron gets this done.... jheeeeeeeeeze. Top 1.

16 points in game 7 doe :oldlol:

Also Whiteside didn't miss the whole series, and Toronto lost their big man at exactly the same time.

So what? The Heat were already down a big man. They were so shortahanded they had to play a 6'7 rookie at center. JV will miss the next series too so the point is moot anyway. You talked about Lebron pushing the super-stacked Raptors to 7, and 34 year old Wade did just that. If Lebron's legacy gets a boost, Wade's legacy gets a major boost.

Reminds me of Jordan versus the Jazz. They went up against the dynamic duo of stockton and malone. Similar to the cavs versus lowry and derozan.

It took Toronto 7 games each to beat a 7th seed Indiana and a Miami team that lost two of their best players. They'll be lucky to push Cleveland past 5 games.

I had the raptors going to the finals BEFORE the playoffs started but man this raptors team is looking more and more like the 2014 pacers.smh

Hell of a regular season but struggled throughout the whole playoffs. Biyombo single handedly won them the game yesterday...I don't know if he is a free agent or whatever but if he is dude is about to get a BIG payday.

Im expecting the cavs to sweep the raptors just like they did the hawks in the ecf last year.

Wont even be close...lowry and derozan will have to play out their minds just to win one game I think...they can not struggle against the cavs....lowry cant come out and stink the place up.

derozan is gonna have to focus less on scoring and more on defense this series. The focal point should be LeBron of course.....but they strategy should be to close off the passing lanes for bron and force bron to beat you with scoring andnot getting others involved.

the east remains a f*ckin joke, nothing u can say to change that. lbj will get his sh*t pushed in, in the finals.
the west is so stacked a 67 win team lost in the semis.
