James Harden is old school he plays like a 60's or 70's player

He doesn't work hard, he parties all the time, isn't very athletic, and doesn't play defense

And he was the MVP runner up last year! Pathetic

James Harden would be a 3x MVP in the 70 and 80s though

So you have him in your top 10 all-time?

James Harden is a glorified bench player who dribbles the air out of the ball, doesn't even try on defense, makes HORRIBLE decisions and basically has NO HEART!!! This knucklehead would be riding the bench in the 80's and early 90's were FUNDAMENTALS AND HIGH IQ trumped everything else!

Perfect player for today's game though!

Obviously not. I'd imagine warriorfan is trolling the old timers probably because one of them was explaining how great old players are compared to Curry.. that seems like a reason he would make this topic. :lol

There's just a few grandpas in here that have some amazing revisionist history. I've seen games from 60s and 70s and that was some of the worst defending I have ever seen a couple of years back. Multiple Hardens in the wild on D.

Also he throws his head back on just about every drive to the basket.

thats cause in our modern era we have the most complex and stifling defenses in the history of the game

harden would have half the amount of turn overs if he played in the no defense cocaine 70's or "showtime" 80's ("showtime" because they would just do fast breaks back and forth with no one playing defense, was more of a "show" than a competition. think WWF)
