Why don't more teams make someone else beat them? Curry is a 2-time MVP yet he's guarded like any other PG most games

I saw more switches than traps. It appears that the Thunder made certain that no matter who the defender was, they were certain that Curry was covered off screens.

The key thing with GSW is not to overreact. Curry is not going to hit every 3 and it's no big deal if you let him drive. You have to avoid this frantic defense where you don't think.

Teams need to guard Curry like Lin during the Linsanity timeline. During the Jeremy Linsanity time, Lin was going off and destroying teams because guys like John Wall wanted to go 1 on 1 and stop Lin but it didnt work. Then Lin faced the Heat and it was over because the Heat trapped him baseline as soon as he crossed center court and he turned the ball over constantly. Lin was shook and the Knicks lost 6 of their next 7 after that Heat game and Linsanity was over.

The key is to make Stephanie have to defend someone. Then he gets worn out, and loses a foot on his range.

Most times he got the ball off a screen, the OKC big and guard stayed with him making him give the ball up. Like any superstar, you make other guys beat you

MOVING SCREENS. There were plays where the Warriors ran the Packer Sweep to get him a shot.

He can only get a shot off if they set multiple screens and get him onto Kanter.

To me the reason why there isn't as much added focus on Curry defensively as you would think in terms of double teaming and shading over multiple defenders (though it definitely does happen) is because this team is flat out too capable. He's proven far too adept the past couple of years at facilitating through that, and the other guys more often than not, they make you pay for it.

GSW's supporting cast is literally flawlessly built around Steph, and really no one has ever sustained a consistently effective way of shutting him down in a series.

This is true. Everytime Steph had to switch with Klay on WB, WB just attacked attacked and attacked. Waiters getting real physical with Steph on D too, slowly but surely wearing him down.
