Cowboy Thunder

Would this current playoff Thunder team be better if it still had James Harden and never acquired Steven Adams in the draft from that trade?

Honest question.

One thing is certain...Adams is a far better ball-handler. He can move down the lane effortlessly with the ball. It almost appears as if he isn't he even dribbling at all.

I honestly think 2012 Thunder would beat this current team, so yes

Adams makes more of an impact of playoff games than Har_en does

Steven Adams is a SAVAGE. I love this dude and he murdered the team I root for. Intelligent, hard-working, and a bulldozer to boot. Would love to see Bogut try to get under his skin and Adams to lay him out.

Keep Harden and trade someone else for that 12th pick to draft Adams

I was saying I wish Adams would lay out Bogut, to be clear.

No one can get under Adams skin.

Maybe people will start listening now...Harden does not make sense on this Thunder team. It never made sense.

Yes, it was great because it was just a collection of absurd talent, but it could never function at an optimal level.

The Harden trade was never the problem...the problem has been Presti's moves since that trade...along with simply some bad luck.

Never liked the Waiters move, but I seem to be wrong about that.

Regardless, James Harden on this team making near max simply prevents them from building out the roster the way you'd need to actually win the title.

But hey...lets keep pretending that this Thunder team ever needed or currently needs a no defense playing ball dominant perimeter player that hurts the productivity of Durant/Westbrook...

They sure could have used Harden when Durant or Westbrook were hurt past several seasons. But you're right for the current Thunder.

Honest question.

Given Harden is one of the top few players in the world, and Adams is a strong role player, with good coaching I would say so.

Still haven't made it back to the finals without Harden

Adams was a monster though. I don't think Thunder win this series with Harden instead of Adams. The 2 guard D gets worse and the C position gets worse. The D was so important for Thunder's success this series.

It would have been a 5 game Warriors victory with Haren at the 2 guarding Klay

Harden would play D if coached correctly

Harden played defense in this year's play-offs. His teammates just choked harder than Durant.

I'd go one step further, IMO the Thunder don't get past the Spurs without Adams.
