Yeah, I'm a 20 year long Raptors fan and I know we're probably going to lose, but isn't the whole point of being a fan of a team to be optimistic and want them to succeed? I never understood why the internet gets bent out of shape over fans cheering for their team. We'd be a sorry bunch of people if we simply admitted defeat and stopped cheering, that's not what sports are about.

Not true at all.
People made some predictions about detroit stealing a game, but they almost did in every game of the sweep and always kept it close.
And not many people even though that ATL could hang in there with Cavs. I think ATL showed up and performed better than many people hoped, so you're especially wrong on this one.

It was Lowry and DeRozan who carried them from their high level of play. The rest of the team is above average, average, or below average role players. When they struggled for most of this series, that's why it took them 7 games each the last 2 rounds.

They lack a lot of talent overall and those 2 have their flaws too.
