Looking at the whole BS rhetoric on how the Warriors are the "ultimate team" concept and the Thunder are always punished for being the "Iso ball" dominant team I looked a little deeper:

The Warriors have only 4 players in double figures:

Curry- 30ppg
Thompson- 22ppg
Green-14 ppg
Barnes 12ppg

The Thunder have also 4 players in double figures:

Durant- 28 ppg
Westbrook- 24ppg
Ibaka- 14ppg
Waiters- 10 ppg

While a lot of people might say, "Well yeah, but the Warriors have so many more assists" They BOTH RELY HEAVILY ON JUST TWO SCORERS!!!

The different approach lies in that the Thunder's duo of Durant and Westbrook basically create their opportunities while the Warriors philosophy is centered around EVERYBODY feeling like they are playing "team basketball" touching the ball a few seconds while in reality the ULTIMATE GOAL of every pass, screen and dribble is to free up either Klay or Steph!

NO TEAM with a 30 point scorer is playing true TEAM BALL ladies and gentlemen!!! The Warriors just disguise their "hero ball" traits a lot better than the Thunder and most teams in the NBA do.

This series is more TEAM ORIENTED hero ball versus INDIVIDUALLY DRIVEN hero ball than anything else!

Stop the BS!

lol @ you saying "i looked a little deeper" and then post surface stats. :lol

thunder ARE playing team ball. they have been since the great OZ decided to give westbrook a brain. THus the reason these teams have an EQUAL chance to represent the west in the finals. theres no clear favorite given that both teams are playing as a unit.

Those "surface stats" tell you the whole story basically.

Durant and Westbrook took 51 OUT OF THE 89 SHOTS TAKEN FOR THE THUNDER!!!

You think that's team ball???

Steph and klay were 47/91. Just how the game is. Other players may touch the ball a lot more but your stars will take the most shots.

Team ball doesn't necessarily means more shots for everyone else. It's getting others involved.

When the Warriors or Spurs constantly passing to one another, the role players are more in sync and in rhythm to shoot. In heavily isoed offense, most players are forced to get a shot off because their ISO play was broken up.

Big difference in my opinion when you have fluidity in your offence..

what a startling revelation .. the warriors use their best players .. the most.

The meat of the play matters just as much the end result.. guys touch the ball, the comfort they gain from that may be the difference between them making a shot down the stretch and missing it.
