Buddy Hield will be a laker. lakers pick will be outside the top 3. Hield will be a good pick for them. They have nothing, Hield is mature and can produce right away. With all the losing the lakers will do at least they will have a player that can excite their fan base.

If the Lakers' pick falls outside the top 3 it goes to the Sixers.

With the #1 pick in the 2016 NBA draft, the Los Angeles Lakers select...

...some overrated bum when the obvious pick is right in front of them.

Might as well stay consistent. :(

Lakers Chances of getting #1 Pick - 20%

Lakers Chances of Not Getting ANY 1st Round Pick - 45%

I think I'm gonna have more fun tonight than you guys are...

Nets :lol

Seriously though, after tonight, the Lakers will be past the horrible Nash trade no matter what. If we keep the pick, then I believe it will default to Philly next year no matter what. Obviously if we lose the pick, then we're done with all the ramifications of that terrible trade.

The Nets, meanwhile, will be buried under the consequences of their terrible trades until like 2020. :oldlol:

There are no game changers in the draft. No Shaqs or Tim Duncans, etc.

Whether they get No. 1 or not, it wont be a tidal shift. either way.

And next years class is going to be even worse when the LAL are in the lottery again.

Next year's draft looks really good and has some good players at all positions
You got wings like Josh Jackson and Jayson Tatum big men like Harry Giles, Ivan Rabb and John Isaac and guards like Markelle Fultz, Dennis Smith, De'Aaron Fox and Lonzo Ball. Also you can count on atleast one international player with talent and alot of players from this draft still have a decision to make officially enter or return to school.

ayyy
:pimp: :pimp: :pimp:

But nah this thread isnt really one of those tbh. 2nd pick is fantastic and I was being overly optimistic with that 1st pick thing.

Now if we got 3rd or fallen out, its a different story. But Ingram / Simmons was the best case scenario either way so its all good fam
