9/11 bill passes US Senate despite Saudi 'warning'


A bill that would allow the families of 9/11 victims to sue the Saudi government has passed a key hurdle in the US Senate.

The Justice Against Sponsors of Terrorism Act (JASTA) now moves to the House of Representatives.

Saudi Arabia's foreign minister warned that the move could cause his government to withdraw US investments.

President Barack Obama said he will veto the bill, but a Democratic senator is "confident" he'd be overruled.

If it became law the legislation would allow victims' families to sue any member of the government of Saudi Arabia thought to have played a role in any element of the attack.

Saudi Arabia denies any involvement in the 2001 attack on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, which killed nearly 3,000 people.

Fifteen out of the nineteen hijackers in 2001 were Saudi citizens.

In 2004 the 9/11 Commission Report found "no evidence that the Saudi government as an institution or senior Saudi officials individually funded the organisation".

A White House spokesman said President Obama had serious concerns about the bill, and it was difficult to imagine he would sign it into law.

(However I am interested if this investigative project is ever completed)

The rest of the world will not be as excepting as me....

I think throughout the course of time there will be more and more revelations,
and more things will get exposed... and when that happens...

I bet if we took a U.S.A. poll today:

Do you think the government played a roll in 9/11?

I think over 51% would say yes, or still be undecided...

(and if that's true... it's a huge problem)

this guy has been researching this for 2 years and still has nothing to show for it. his website looks more for marketing than finding the truth, and asking for donations in every link looks suspect to me. its more likely a gimmick to make money rather than to research how the building collapsed.

To add, the popular video of WTC 7 collapsing is misleading, it is footage that captures only the top 15 floors of the 47 on the side that wasnt facing the twin towers, so the video does not show the damage that the building sustained before collapsing.

I learned very quickly back in my 'truther' days to stay away from the
subject of controlled demolition. It's too complexed and the debate
goes nowhere.

There are a million other things regarding 9/11 to focus on...

but this is where the argument always ends up: Controlled Demolition

The only way to properly replicate this event would be to also recreate the large towers next to building 7, using the same materials, and then fly a fcking fuel filled jumbo jet into the side of it.

The structural damage probably only affected how the building fell not why the building fell.
