Jon Berg and Geoff Johns will co-run the newly created DC Films in an attempt to course-correct Warners' comic book movies.
The fallout from Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice continues to ripple through Warner Bros.
The Burbank-based studio is making changes to the way it handles its DC Entertainment-centered films, giving oversight of the feature projects to a pair of executives and creating a dedicated division for the films. Current executive vp Jon Berg and Geoff Johns, DC's chief content officer who successfully launched the comics label's foray into television, will co-run the newly created DC Films, according to multiple sources.
This move is part of a broader refinement of executive roles at Warners, which has suffered a disappointing run of movies and has vexed producers and filmmakers, some of whom complain about a murky greenlight process.

although he's not great, he's better to oversee the dcu movieverse than snyder. this can only be seen as good news for dc movies because honestly, it's a pretty low bar right now anyways.
wb still needs to pull it's collective head out it's ass and let the animation guys run the dc movieverse. good to see snyder getting squeezed out though.

What they really need to do is stop making comic book/superhero movies.

Hey rez, i hve an off topic question if you don't mind - to recover lost wages for an auto accident, all i need is a letter from my employer and a doctor's note explaining I can't work for a couple days? I know it's not your specialty but perhaps you can help, thanks.

What's the debacle?
Terrible movies.
Terrible movies.
I don't watch superhero movies so I don't really know what the issue is, I was under the assumption that that type of movie had been doing well the past few years.
But it could also be buyer fatigue as well... Can only do the same movies so many times.

For Marvel movies it's been great, for DC? Not so much.
I agree with you though, superhero films are becoming tiring and boring to watch.

Marvel movies do very well. I don't think it is buyer fatigue, because Captain America came out 2 weeks ago and easily outdid what Batman V. Superman did in nearly 2 months.
Ultimately, the debacle is DC is hoping to have the same success as Marvel, and have failed to do so, even when combining their 2 biggest marketable pieces meeting each other on the big screen for the first time.

Hiring mr. "It's gross, it's racist"/"please don't tell anyone that my ancestors had slaves" should have been the first thing to tip them off that things weren't being handled correctly.

They just need to not overspend on marketing and they will be fine. Batman V Superman grossed significantly higher than the second MCU movie, The Incredible Hulk. At this point I think the people that want to see a movie like Batman V Superman are going to see it regardless if you do nonstop promotion or not. We live in the age where everybody rushes to Youtube and watches the trailers the moment they are released you don't need to spend hundreds of millions of dollars to promote your movie.

Information relevant to your question is in the middle, but you should read the entire article
Throw in a police report too if you have one. More documentation won't hurt.

they are going to need something more official then a letter. letters are easily forged. you need to prove how much you were actually making. paycheck stubs, tax returns, direct deposit receipts etc are usually acceptable.

I'll be submitting pay stubs but that's as far as I'm willing to go. I like my privacy so no bank statements.

But don't worry, if you hated the 2.5 hour version, you'll love the upcoming 4 hour cut. :oldlol:

I'm actually curious to see all the cuts
And why just not make 2 movies if the original was 4 hours long
