He's team-playing. Fvck scoring stats. Rings are all that matter, he's proven himself individually already.

Damage control already for if Lebron wins his 3rd ring

LeStans in full damage control already because they know Kyrie is a lock for finals mvp :lol :lol :lol

According to lestans, Kobe averaging 29/7/6 and 27/6/5 means his rings didn't count but Lebron averaging 23/8/7 means he's the goat.

That's all fine and good - but just don't compare this guy to Jordan

The Cavs are so stacked that they don't need Lebron to lead them in scoring, while the Bulls needed Jordan to be scoring leader for every playoff series of his career by an average of 15.4 ppg (http://www.insidehoops.com/forum/showthread.php?t=406920).

THAT'S what was required for 6/6... Lebron could never come close

Yep.

Lebron is incapable of leading his team in scoring.

He has proven that throughout his career.

I think honestly Lebron could care less. He's always going to be a big part of bringing a championship to Cleveland. He's going to get that 200 million dollar contract and he's already proven he can average 30PPG.

They actually are super dangerous now because you literally have to pick your poison with Kyrie and Lebron. Love is great on mismatches and good in general matchups.

Well although they're essentially the same person, I see them as two people due to the multiple personality disorder they/he suffers from. Just to be fair.

Him not leading the team in scoring is by design. He said he didn't want to have to carry so much of a scoring load this year. It also makes the team better and allows love and Irving to flourish.

Meanwhile the Warriors got to the WCF in just ten games with Curry playing a total of 111 minutes and didn't get a single vote for FMVP last season. How could you be so stupid as to make this post?

Not only that, but Curry isn't even leading the team in scoring in the playoffs, Thompson is...with a higher efficiency.

Did Curry tear his MCL in the Finals last year when he didn't get a single FMVP vote?

It was only a sprain MCL.
That loser doesn't even know the difference between a tore MCL and a sprain MCL. :facepalm

No, he was coming off a serious concussion and back injury though after this play happened less than a week before the Finals

https://i.ytimg.com/vi/I4ymrEk8UAA/hqdefault.jpg

And still should of won the FMVP. Dude put up 26/5/6/2 on 59% TS while seeing the most defensive attention in NBA Finals history...getting blitzed by double teams from 30 feet away from the basket. Anyone who knows two shits about basketball (bleacher report and ESPN do not) knows that Steph Curry was by far the MVP in the Finals for the Warriors.

OP is really on a roll now. I think he needs to calm down and chill, if my team is getting swept by a team that wins 18 games less in the conference finals, Id be quiet for a little while.

:oldlol: "serious concussion" I'm pretty sure he wasn't even diagnosed with a concussion and his back was ****ing fine. You really love making excuses and exaggerating.

GSW Medical staff got super shady and hid the diagnosis of concussion in order to keep Golden State's playoff hopes alive. If you remember Curry was swaying so heavily while walking back to the locker room he had to be held on both sides to keep from falling over. It was extremely obvious he suffered a concussion.

There is zero exaggeration going on here. I don't know if you have ever played ball but when you take a fall from that distance onto the floor, especially in an awkward position...your body is feeling it for the next few days at the very least.

He's playing 2nd fiddle but won 2 Finals MVP as the man. You should know that firsthand since Curry was playing 2nd fiddle to Iggy, which is why he didn't get one vote and Iggy won.
