Simmons does not want to be in Philly and will Kobe his way to LA if need be. Okafor already didn't want to be a Sixer and is going to leave as soon as he can, why would the Sixers draft another guy like that a year later? Use your brain.

Simmons is similar to Diaw but different. His potential ceiling is much higher than Diaw's peak, but of course there is no guarantee Simmons will ever reach his top potential, but such is the case with all lottery picks. it's a risk that must be taken.


Remember, Simmons was a FRESHMAN last year. Zack Lavine also looked crappy in college. He also looked bad his rookie year. Now he looks like a baller. Simmons is a teenager. Of course he might not get any better than he currently is but you have to expect that he will.


I'd prefer Ingram, but if Simmons comes, there is no disappointment there.
