Does the ring even count. Considering for years lebron stans have disregarded three of kobes rings due to him not getting the fmvp even though he contributed in a big way.

Either way he's above Kobe

It would still be a big accomplishment to go 3/7 and take down the historic Warriors; the choking narrative his haters like to support would look like pure fiction.

It would also cement his place as best in the world over Curry.

I guess it would depend on how he plays as well.

Kyrie easily..... fmvp can sometimes be a stat thing and kyrie could easily outscore lebron.

Right like when Iggy won fmvp because he outscored Curry...

Kyrie is going to get outshined/outplayed by Curry, thus being irrelevant.

Lebron is looked at as the leader and best player, its been the narrative since 2014 and its not going to change.

Well, it didn't count for Curry last year, so I guess we gotta hold LeBron to that same standard.

Thing is, if the Cavs win, there's literally a zero percent chance he doesn't win FMVP. So. Yeah. Pointless thread!

as you said depends on how he plays. If Kyrie plays obviously better, lot people could view it as a sidekick thing or at least a 1A/1B thing. If it's close enough where a lot of people think Bron should've won, lot of people would still view him as the best player on a championship team(like Kareem in 80).

It will only enhance his all-time ranking, unselfish superstar

Even if LeBron does get outplayed, he'll still get Finals MVP. Sort of like how Gasol played better than Kobe in 2010 but Kobe got Finals MVP.

The real question is, will lebron ever get a fmvp without a SUPERTEAM? :lol :lol

He's always been better than Sidekickbe. Lakers won an NBA title with Sidekickbe averaging 15 ppg on 36 FG% in the NBA Finals.
2 fmvp's with no superstars on his team >>> 0
