GS will try to make Bron a jumpshooter but they have no one who can even dream of defending Kyrie

How the hell is anyone but Bran going to win the FMVP, regardless?

They tried to give him the damn award after he lost and shot 39%!

ESPN and other media make money off building a fraudulent greatness in Bran.

Lebron was easily the most impactful in that series. And he did more than just score

Are you capable of making a single post without some pathetic agenda hidden in it?

Starting PGs (Beverly/Lillard/Westbrook) are shooting 34% against GS in these playoffs. Maybe not in their dreams, but reality suggests GS is very good at guarding PGs.

Impact on a losing team should never be rewarded.

He averaged like 35 points on 32 shots a game. That is HORRID.

He disappeared NUMEROUS times in the 4th quarter. WATCH THE GAMES.

What exactly is my agenda? I see a huge matchup problem for GS coming up...especially if they try to shade Bron on the wing

Kyrie is far superior to all three of those players when it comes to one-on-one basketball. Actually, I'd say he's the best in the league when it comes to that.

Here's the thing: Lillard shoots a pedestrian 37% from midrange, and he is not as quick/agile/fluid as Kyrie. He's also not as good of a ballhandler and has a shorter reach. That's why Lillard can't get by klay thompson, who's a long, pretty good defender. Not only can he not blow by thompson, but he also cant get by draymond green. And then, even if he is able to get to the basket, he only shoots 53% at the rim, which isn't that good. That helps explain why he shot a miserable 38% from the field in the playoffs and kept chucking those long range shots. For him, those were the only real make-able ones.

Westbrook pretty much won OKC that game at Golden State, so we'll see how well GSW stops him. Remember, Westbrook shot below 40% against the spurs, and they still won because of his overall play and Durants knockdown shot making capabilities. As far as Westbrook's one-on-one deficiencies, he doesn't change speeds incredibly well and he's mostly power/speed. He's a better athlete than kyrie, but lacks the body control, change/direction ability and touch around the rim. Also, remember that Kyrie is shooting a jordan like 45-50% on midrange jumpers, and when you couple that with his elite first step, goat handle and ability to change speeds, youll find that he will always be able to create a high-percentage shot for himself in the halfcourt. He's also an excellent three-point shooter.

So, yeah. Also, let's not forget that he played steph to a draw/ or outplayed him in game one last year, and he was clearly hobbled. Now in the playoffs, Kyrie has regained his speed, athleticism and three point shot. With LeBron and all of those shooters, GSW is going to get lit up.

Not just that. He's playing with LeBron and other 3pt shooters. That is much harder to defend than a Rockets team with Harden as the only real threat and a Blazers team with just Dame and CJ.

Yeah i forgot about that part. Very true, OKC has zero shooters, and, as great as KD is, he disappears sometimes.

Dame had a tough situation, though, his role players actually stepped up at different points.

Even if Kyrie has better numbers than LeBron.. LeBron will go out of his way to statpadd as usual and get a novelty stat like a triple double in the closing game and the media will anoint him Finals MVP.

How often do they award finals MVP to a player on the losing team?

He didn't, but it has a weird... almost paradoxical quality to it since he hit that crazy shot. Didn't know about this thread? Or maybe I did, dunno. I dunno if I knew.

Edit: @ stalker, what happened to dude?? Damn.
