while the Cavs have to play every other day.

It's almost as if Silver wants to give Curry every advantage possible, as if playing on the most stacked team in all of sports isn't enough.

Cavs will be rested when the finals start. WC winner will be tired AF.

This. All they had was time off in these series. 4-0, 4-0, 4-0, plenty of time rest playing these patsies in the East.

Raptors also have to play every other day and OKC also gets a long break.

Because the East is a joke conference; this is the only way to give it even a tiny sense of balance.

I'd rather play the Raptors 4 days in a row than get extra rest vs. OKC.

Meanwhile, Cavs/Raptors is scheduled for every other day.

Getting the easiest run to the finals in NBA history isn't enough for you guys? :sleeping :sleeping

This seems like an advantage for the Cavs to me, since it means they will get a longer break between the end of the ECF and start of the finals.

"b-b-but then theyll have rust!" :lol

OK well it is kind of strange because you would think the Warriors would play Saturday and Cavs on Sunday. This has to do with the venues being booked for other events.

NBA wants the Sunday TV ratings... and LeBron doesn't bring the ratings.

lmao came in here to post this

West Coast is the NBA's cash cow...not gonna waste it on a friday night game

If Eastern Conference could produce some basketball that is worthy of being watched for 4 quarters it might be different but we all know that is out of the question

The cavs will be off for 10 days in between their current D league bout and the NBA Finals.

The warriors assuming this is a 7 game series will get just one day off in between WCF's and NBA Finals.

so.. shut up.

I was wondering this too, but then I remembered that LeBron and the LeBronettes basically haven't played an NBA game since the regular season ended. They've had 10 scrimmages against D-League squads, but not actual games against real teams. It's the only way to give the West a chance to catch their breath in the bloodbath that is the Western playoffs.

Either they want to have OKC x Warriors on Sunday or it's because OKC and Oakland are pretty far from each other.

imdaman99
05-20-2016, 06:52 PM
It's prob because Warriors at OKC was the highest rated game all season so they wanna make sure they can have as many eyes on this game as they possibly can. Sure they could have had game 4 on Sunday but they would have had to sacrifice game 3 on a Friday night. They weren't willing to do that. Money is the only thing that motivates these bastards.

it's a big conspiracy guys. the nba heavily favors the cavs.

also, we never landed on the moon and aliens were to blame for the 9/11 attacks.
