First of all, I will say you have to take these stats with a grain of salt. Player tracking stats have known to be glitchy, personally I like vantage's more but they aren't available in public, I've only seen some of them. And I don't honestly believe in box plus numbers, they are an estimate of rapm, but can be horribly off. Also, play type stats can be misleading, 2015 Davis looks like the best defender using those stats but in reality you could argue he wasn't a top ap defender. Kawhi was "below average" in 2015 iso ppp, but we know that isn't true.

THAT BEING SAID, lebron was a ****ing animal on defense in the finals, and was ****ing incredible to the point where my extended family in the Bay Area shat themselves. His defense was incredible, and while on defense an unbiased eye test still seems the best way to evaluate defense, these stats, especially during games 5-7, seem to be true.

People don't understand how ****ing legendary this finals series is. This is coming from someone who has 5 Kobe posters in his room. This, plot wise for sure, is the most ****ing legendary finals series ever for a player Imo. Especially considering how they were ridiculous underdogs.

And don't get me wrong, I was, and am still, rooting for golden state, and I was pissed when they lost, but I know how to appreciate greatness. Would I rather golden state have won? Yeah. But do I know this was a fully deserved win? Yeah.
