I just can't understand how a team with the league MVP and coach of the year can be down by almost 40 in a playoff game. I mean they can lose a game but losing by almost 40? How can these two allow something like this to happen after winning those awards?

What exactly is Kerr on the bench doing besides looking goofy?

Has Magic, Isiah, Bird, MJ, Kobe, Shaq, Hakeem, or Lebron ever been down by almost 40 in a playoff game?

It happens. Boston beat the Lakers something like 150 to 110 in the 85 finals. And the year before there was a game the Celtics were down like 35 in. After the game Bird said they played like a bunch of women. That was the reason for the famous Mchale clothesline on Rambis:
