Curry is winning this matchup. Thunder winning just about every other matchup.

There is a reason they started calling these playoffs "RussellMania."

If you aren't watching the games, at least go and check the youtube highlights. :facepalm

If Anything, it's been Durant who can't be stopped. They can't match up with him. There's no scheme involved to stop Durant.

Curry has been slowed down by various athletic defenders in Roberson and Waiters.

Westbrook stops himself usually.

I'd say Westbrook is doing more with his minutes overall but both guys get bottled up.

Agreed. Westbrook and Curry are mostly a wash, while Durant is killing and nobody else on the Warriors is doing anything.

Pretty equal. Maybe Westbrook has a slight edge overall.

The problem GSW has isn't what Westbrook's doing. It's that Durant's putting up 30ppg with relative ease, while Klay and Dray are shitting the bed.

Westbrook definitely has the edge. Just looks more dominant out there... Klay has been way better than Curry.

Klay's putting up 19-4-3 on 39%...

Westbrook, he's actually GUARDING Curry, while Curry is floating on Waiters (who is also sh1tting on Curry)

He has been more impactful besides a spurt by Curry in game 2.

Westbrook is up 2-1. That's all that matters.

Westbrook is winning the matchup quite easily. Defense is half of the game and Curry is nowhere to be found in that department

The stats give the edge to Curry, but stats are often misleading.

Westbrook has been an animal and his impact is evident.

Pretty sure WB is averaging 3 times as many assists while having less turnovers

3 TIMES AS MANY ASSISTS NIKKA

Westbrook used to be the guy that got roasted for not passing as a point guard.

The difference in this series is Durant vs the rest of the Warriors, not Westbrook vs Curry.

Said this since day 1, Currys biggest weakness is as a playmaker

Game 1 = Tie
Game 2 = Curry
Game 3 = Westbrook

So far, squared up. But Curry isn't dominating like an MVP. And Westbrook actually guards him. Different and better defenders guard Russell.

Westbrook has given Curry more trouble on both ends than just about any player in the league this season and hasw carried over into this series. Besides the second half of the game in OKC in the regular season when Curry just went off, Westbrook was able to contain him pretty well (compared to others).

I believe in game 2 Westbrook was tired and got switch happy as well. That combined with Curry lighting up at the right moment killed OKC.

Westbrook is dominating the actual head to head matchup. He has been slowed by Klay at times but Curry has nothing for him. Curry has gotten his buckets by spamming the switch and isolating on slow-footed bigs

It was a combination of that and OKC being frustrated over missed shots that led to them not getting back fast enough in transition and Curry getting wide open 3s

so westbrook leads as a lower seed, has better stats and also plays defense and also brings real leadership. I'd call that many things but not squared up..

Westbrook is doing more. Which is odd because curry is the better player

I've been telling my friends Curry looks tired once it hits the 4th quarter. People can say he had so many rests throughout regular season but OKC in transition along with strength and physical players will tire you out.

I also think you see his reluctance to drive inside. I've seen so many times Curry get chased off the 3 point line only to camp right back out there.

He and Klay want to make it rain on 3's and their confidence border lines arrogance.

How could any idiot say Curry??? Westbrook is guarding him while Curry guards the weakest player every dam single possession! Westbrook is killing it on the glass, playing elite defense! His passing/assists is just ridiculous! All Curry is does is shoot 3s and hope they go in. He is a cancer defensively!

Right now its Westbrook. Steph needs to step the **** up and show up for Game 4. None of that disinterested play he's been showing the first 3 games. :facepalm

Yet to drop 30 this series :confusedshrug:
