Forget about the athleticism, and dunking. As somebody who copies Jordan, emulating him is really hard. The footwork for example. And then there's his reflexes, and instant decision making. You have to try hardcore to copy his game to truly understand it. That's the one thing that I really find impressive about Kobe.

I can emulate Curry's game and hit a fraction of his shots, but I can also try to emulate Jordan's game and hitting the shots is going to also be a fraction, and a whole lot of then are going to be physically impossible. But you're also not going to hit the ones you can emulate at the same rate.
