It looked like he was just trying to land without hurting himself once he committed to falling. :oldlol:

Even in the gif you can see that he already stopped his downward motion for a slight moment. Then got back up and decided to walk back. The thrust was so weak it couldn't have knocked over a 4 year old..

One of the worst flops of all time.
At least there was actual contact to the face.

The worst ones are the guys flailing their arms and legs after getting stripped of the ball looking for the call.

Players fall down all the time looking for the call (after the contested shot) when no contact is made at all.

these 2 are aka...the Reggie Miller flops, that happen every game by hundreds of different players a year.

Ball made contact with his face, but did over exaggerate looking for a call.....which happens just about every game in the NBA

Yeah, next time he'll flop because the ball touched his hands.

My honest opinion on that situation? He over-exaggerated the contact. Maybe he's mentally programmed that when he gets hit he should over-exaggerate the contact. Because to me that's what he did and he seems to do it alot. When you get hit like that you don't flail your head back like that like you just took an uppercut and fall backwards. Thompson barely hit him in the mouth.

Jose Buatista for the Toronoto Blue Jays took a straight MMA much right to the face and didn't even go down on one knee...

...but LeBron takes a slightly elbow to the mouth on a back swing with minimum force and acts like he just got sniped in the ****ing forehead?

1000% needs to be flop-fined, especially because Toronto got T'd up for it, which is the biggest bullshit, that the refs endlessly respond to the drama reactions if it's a superstar.

The fine at least brings a bit of shame-deterrence.

Ah, Baseball and Hockey players are tough SOB's and they're sports have not gone overboard to protect them from physical contact the way the NBA has in the last 20 years!

Today's NBA players are a bunch of sissified face book buddies who have taken flopping to a new level. Back in the days of Dennis Rodman you literally had to TAKE A CHARGE!!! and absorb the force from a drive of a player going at full speed to get an offensive foul called in your favor!

The modern NBA has taken THE WORST ASPECT of international soccer and adapted it to basketball, PATHETIC!!!!

Joseph (for the Raps) got T'd up for his skirmish with Thompson. It was a double tech.

It had nothing to do with TT arm to James' face.

Suspension, not fined. The fines don't do shit and LeBron* will just continue to cheat. You think he cares about a $5,000 fine? That's chump change for him. And that goes for everyone else in the league.
