Chandler - good role player in the West, good D, good ofball O.

Moves to Least, DPOYand all-star

Millsap - good 3rd option on jazz, great role player.

Moves to Least perennial all-star and best player on playoff team, and even 60 win team:biggums:

Isaiah Thomas - good offensive PG terrible defender in sac. Never a playoff threat, avg PG u see in the conference every other game.

Moves to Least all-star, best player on playoff team, nikkas say he's a top 10 pg easy now:biggums:

Pau wasn't an all-star caliber player from 2012-14, moves to Least b2b all-star and 2nd best player on playoff team

Lowry good backup PG in West to avg starter. In Least best player in a playoff team 3 years straight, b2b all-star :biggums:

Discuss this theory:cheers:

BONUS

from Least to west.

Fright MVP candidate and DPOY in Least. Cant anchor a good D in West, barely all-star caliber, wasn't all-star this season . Nearly missed playoffs 2/3 seasons

Hibbert 2 time all-star in Least, top 2 player on one of Least top teams. Another "DPOY" candidate, goes to west exposed for scrub he is. 1 season away from working the grill at McDonalds

Jameer was an all-star in Least one season, one of the best PGs in Least
In West in past couple years dude can't even avg 10 PPG or 5 APG, makes scrub impact

Jrue all-star in Least and best player on a playoff team. In West an avg PG that's missed playoffs in 2/3 seasons

Caron butler top forward in the Least, made b2b all-star games was top 2 player on a playoff team (shtty but Least). Goes to west and goes from a 20/7/5 all-star to a guy who can't even avg 15 PPG, 4RPG or 2 PPG. this dude was so much of an afterthought with so lil impact that the Dallas Mavericks won the title with him injured and not playing the entire postseason:oldlol: :oldlol:

Weve gone over this, stats deflated from Bran ball
Bran ball, Rubio ball gave Love empty stats in the Least. He wasnt making an impact

never made playoffs in the west 14-2 in the Least:biggums: :biggums:

He was 1st round fodder in the West outside one season where a superior player (Billups) and stacked teammates got a conference finals appearance

He was 1st round fodder in first couple Knicks season actually 2nd round once, still made allstar every year:confusedshrug:

then knicks went to a new direction after all injuries, started tanking cuz they didnt want to go thru what Denver did with Melo:applause:

whats not to believe?

those players were allstars/DPOY candidates in one conference WITH playoff success............and the complete opposite in the other conference

let this be a lesson for any future Leastern conference "DPOY" candidates...........

Fright, Hibbert, Tyson..........SMH:oldlol: :facepalm fraudulent defenders.

Least hasnt had a respectable DPOY candidate since KG

also just imagine if Joakim 2014 DPOY Noah was on a western conference team:oldlol:

dude got raped by ex western conference Nene:oldlol:

KG is another one. He was still legendary good out West, but carried his teams and usually got knocked out in the 1st round. It wasn't until he moved East that he consistently made deep playoff runs and found championship success. People were saying Rondo would be a GOAT PG while he was on Boston, in the West he's just yet another good PG out there.

Great call on Rondo.

i think Ray makes more sense than KG here. Ray was known as a mediocre defender in West, out Least all of a sudden he was considered a good defender and great man defender:biggums: :biggums:

for some reason playing in the Least makes ppl think guys are alot better on defense than they are........where in the west with real offenses they arent..........

This is so disingenuous.

KG didnt start contending till he teamed up with Ray Allen and Paul Pierce.
Rondo stopped contending when the Big 3 was no longer relevant and when he got injured.

03/04 Wolves were winning the title if Sam Cassell doesn't get hurt.

These are the only 2 I disagree with. Chandler was great in Dallas. Pau was still an all-star caliber player in LA, he just wasn't used right and was made a scapegoat.

Tyson was never near allstar caliber or even sniffing DPOY convo in the west tho

I never bought the used wrong thing. Pau had one of the GOAT offensive coaches in Dantoni. I dont believe Thibs whos a defensive coach and fcking Fred Hoiberg managed to use Pau better

Jeremy Lin.

This entire thread is dumb by this post is facetious as hell.

KG joined Ray Allen, Paul Pierce, and Rondo in the east.
Who did he have on the Twolves? Old Sprewell or Cassell?

Rondo has been dealing with injuries and was shit in BOSTON before he even went to the West.

Tell me how man East teams have faced an injured team every round of the playoffs?

Danny Green- Can't even make the rotation in East. Solid starter in West.
Boris Diaw- Washed up scrub in East. Solid starter in the West.
Camby- DPOY in West. Scrub in East.
Zach Randolph- Cancer in East who can't make the playoffs, dominating the #1 seed in west
Crawford- ballhog cancer in east, sixth of the year in west.

None of these players were allstar caliber except ZBo and he didnt even play a full season in the LEast:roll:

and Danny was just a rookie in his only season in Least, wasnt a solid starter till 3yrs later (was even worse sophomore year)

by that logic Hassan Whiteside couldnt even make a rotation in the west, all of a sudden one of the top players in the Least and one of the top big men in NBA:roll:

nice try baby boi

I agree with you, players become better in the east because they play in much better teams and in much better environment with better coaches and teammates. You made a really good point with this thread OP. People always talk about how Spurs make nobodies into great players because of the coaching staff/players in there, it's the same thing with the East this time. And you provided many examples to prove that point.

Well, right after Amare came east to the Knicks, he was dominating the 1st half of the season and was a legitimate MVP candidate :confusedshrug:

Oh oh, so NOW context matters.

What about Dwight's injury when he went to the West?

Players roles typically change when they switch teams, some times for the better some times for the worse.

What about Kevin Love averaging 26/14 in the West?

Deron Williams was one of the best PGs in the West

Carlos Boozer was one of the best PGs in the West, became a scapegoat on the Bulls.

Ray Allen's number went WAY up when he went to Seatle, same with Rashars Lewis.

Tyson Chandler was a scrub on the Bulls, and became serviceable on the Hornets. Went to the Bobcats and became a scrub again until he went to the Mavs.

Boris Diaw? Good in the West, scrub on the East.

You guys are reaching too much on the West vs East thing.
