I read somewhere that your taste buds change every 5-7 years. This sounds about right. A lot of stuff I have very little cravings for anymore or flat out don't bother consuming. These clearly stand out:

Pork Chops - I have a pack that's been sitting in my freezer for over a year.

Cheap hot dogs - The kind that is combination of leftover beef, pork, chicken, and God knows what else.

Whole Milk

Domestic Beer :lol

On the flip side, I've had 4 or 5 steaks over the past 6 months. Prior to that, I've only had 1 or 2 in my entire life.

Any kind of fast food.
Especially French Fries. Plus, it's not as if I am depriving myself from it. I'm well past that stage. I have a genuine disinterest in eating that crap.

It sucks that you have to go out of your way to eat healthy....for every grocery store or market on a busy street, there are 9,10 fast food joints...

Chipotle and two or three trips a year to Five Guys are as close to fast food as I go these days...that's been a huge change for me.

I also don't drink soda anymore...I've taken to decaf iced tea and sparkling water in its place. The only Coke I drink is once in a while when its mixed with Jack Daniels on a Saturday night.

Damn, you guys make me feel bad about myself. I get fast food like 10 times a month, quick and gives me more time for other things. I also include pizza and publix chicken as fast food, if that makes it any better :oldlol:

No I'm not overweight, 6ft 200lbs.

Frozen food, fast food, etc. Doesn't mean I don't, but compared to the past it is significantly less.

Don't drink much pop, although I still like a small Coke from a fountain once or twice a week.

I'm like the same as this but 6'2 210. I exercise enough to where I stay in decent shape and I guess some people are just genetically built to at least keep a normal weight, but I feel like one day it's gonna catch up to us man. :lol I blame my crap diet on laziness but even moreso that convenience factor.

I actually eat the same meal for lunch every day...

Vegetables
Chicken/meat
Rice
2xfruits
1 protein bar

Breakfast: 6 eggs, protein shake + supplements (Fish oil etc.)

pretty clean with my carbs, just the rice i need to fill up is what i want to replace... maybe quinoa. I'll be posting a update pic on the fit thread in a few weeks.

Isnt rice starch as well? I though you omitted it from your diet as well :oldlol: Btw do you eat 6 egg yolks per day? If yes, how do you manage cholesterol?

I eat 3 yolks, the cholesterol doesn't bother me, it's high density lipid cholesterol. Well rice is my only starch for the entire day because i do need some carbs. Protein:Carb is 3:1 for me with ~200-215g/day

50g breakfast
40g lunch
40g dinner
60g post-workout
rough estimate but i dont count exact anymore

Before the gym i do take caffeine 200mg supplement to boost energy levels. I do constant blood work every three months or atleast use to since it was free. My diet/lifestyle will change come September when i move to nashville.
