Lead by THE Greatest of All Time? Of course! No question about it.

86 Celtics 87 Lakers bro. It's like everyone forgot about them this year because of the Warriors. Plenty of people even on here used to argue those 2 were better than the Bulls.

Add in the '83 Sixers, the '85 Lakers, the '71 Bucks, the '67 Sixers, and the '72 Lakers.

One thing for sure, the Warriors are definitely not in the discussion.

Pre-ABA merger doesn't count.

The '67 Sixers front line was even greater than the '86 Celtics. They had a HOFer coming off the bench. And a peak Chamberlain would be unstoppable.

The '72 Lakers were an even faster team than this year's Warriors.

I put them in my top 5, but still not better than 96 bulls.

Lets be real, Steven Adams would be a HOFer in the 60s.

1996 Bulls, 2001 Lakers, and 2012 Heat

Lets be real, Steven Adams would be a HOFer in the 60s.

He would be another Neal Walk at best. In fact, not even that. Walk had a 20-12 season in the 70's, in a league with McAdoo, Reed, Bellamy, Hayes, Unseld, Cowens, Thurmond, Kareem, and Chamberlain. And in the ABA, Gilmore.

All of those guys would be feasting in this center-less era.

And yet the '85 and '87 Lakers topped them H2H. And they were a blown pass, and a missed FT away from sweeping them in '84.

Reminder that sophomore Jordan hung 63 on the 86 Celtics.

This season is proving ONCE AGAIN, regular season records are VERY OVERRATED!!! In my opinion the early 90's Bulls were better than the late 90's Bulls and they never approached the RS wins the second 3-peat team put it. The mid to late 90's NBA, like today, was VERY WATERED DOWN!!!

In my opinion NO TEAM that relies on ONE PLAYER to score 30+ every game just to be competitive can be called "GREATEST TEAM"

NO TITLE TEAM in the 1980's had a player score more than 26ppg and just liked at the STACKED LINEUPS the 83 Sixers, 85 and 87 Lakers, 84 and 86 Celtics and 89 Pistons had!!!

The 90's Bulls ushered in the era of "1 to 2 stars surrounded by role players" teams and they competed with teams built similarly like the Jazz, Suns, Knicks, Magic, Sonics, Blazers etc... Hell the Rockets won in 1994 with the most limited roster you could ever have!

In the 80' you needed 4 to 6 all-star level players in your lineup to win titles.

NO TEAM in the present NBA, in large part because of salary restrictions, can assemble teams as deep as those in the 1980's and before!
