View Full Version : OKC is the team to beat.

I don't see any team beating this squad. They are clicking. It took them a whole season to learn how to play under Donovan and they are peaking at the right moment. They want it more than anybody else and their big 3 (Ibaka and the Stache Bros) are the best bigs in the game right now. Nobody can stop Durant, Westbrook's intensity can't be matched, and Donovan is the best coach right now. The Spurs gave it their best shot and so did the Warriors. Nobody is giving the Thunder credit for these wins. People are pointing to injuries and lack of effort on the opponent's part without realizing that the only reason why they are looking bad is because of OKC's stellar defense.

GS is not going to win this series. They gave it their best shot and so did Poppovich. The Thunder can't be beat. They are too athletic and talented. No team can match up to them and no coach can out maneuver Donovan.

They will lose to the Cavs why do you think Silver's letting them win?

They don't need Silver to win. The Cavs have never played a team this good. If you are going by the regular season, then you are going to be surprise because a lot of people wrote them off against the Spurs and GSW. This is a new team.

Don't jinx it brooo

I predicted Donovan will out coach Kerr and that the Thunder will beat both the Spurs and GSW and everybody was calling me insane. Basketball is not a game of chance and jinxes; you can tell which team is rolling when you have an eye for the sport. The jinxers are normally casual fans throwing any prediction out there in the hopes they will stick.

Whoever comes out of the West will be an overwhelming favorite to win the title.

My god, player-for-player the Thunder and the Warriors are light years better than the Cavs.

Lebron would likely be the best player in a Warriors match-up, but after that GS has the edge from players 2-12.

And the Thunder would probably have the best player on the floor in Durant, and Westbrick might even be the second best player. After that, it's all Thunder.

The Cavs may not win a game.

In fact, they might lose all four by 20+.

except Durant is scared of Lebron

Yeah, until the cavs beat them then the narrative will change to okc being an easy matchup for lebron and the cavs. Remember, you guys shouldn't be building them up because if they fall you're all gonna look like flip floppers

I will have to see it to believe it.

Not that I haven't been wrong before. I thought that SA would beat the Thunder, and I also thought that the Warriors would beat them, as well.

BTW, I haven't completely given up on GS, yet, either.

One game at a time...

People laughed at me when I suggested that OKC was the most talented team in the league. Apparently they weren't close to GSW.
More so, I was laughed at when I said that Kanter and Adams were better than Bogut and Ezeli. Looks a whole lot different now.

The Thunder are, and were the most talented team in the league the last two years. They are now finally starting to realize it themselves. The top 3 teams in the West were ridiculous this year. Terrible outside of that, but top 3, legit.

This will be the greatest finals run of all time if OKC pulls it off. Beating a 67 and 73 win team in a run to the final? Wow.

The Cavs were destroyed by the Warriors death squad. The Warriors death squad are getting destroyed by the Thunder's. The Cavs can't go big because the Thunder are bigger and more athletic. If Westbrook can outplay the best offensive player in the world, Kyrie is going to be a cake walk. The only player that can scare the Thunder is Lebron but if the Thunder are playing the way they are playing, Steven Adams will destroy him in the paint which will force him to take ill-advised outside shots he's not very good at. Lue is no match against Donovan. If Donovan can school Pop and Kerr, it'll be like stealing candy from a baby with Lue. Then there's Durant, oh yea, that other guy.

OKC is the 2001 Lakers!

A team of two Alphas who laid low during the regular season, only to obliterate the #1 seed in the Western Conference finals.

Next they'll overwhelm a one-man hype job from The East

OKC's small ball squad is even better than GSW's simply due to Durant and his ability to fit in anywhere from 1-4. The only reason OKC struggle against the Cavs is because of LeBron and their inability to guard him, which GSW can do.

No idea man. I just watch and enjoy the games.

I think Cavs beat OKC, but GSW beat the Cavs. If Toronto get in, I don't know. They just might beat everyone. :oldlol:

This is the first series I've enjoyed these playoffs. Although the Cavs-Raptors one is shaping up nicely.
