I know, I know--regular season, not playoffs, but still.

Unless Steph is still suffering from his injury, how can the first unanimous MVP in NBA history go out like this?

Whether he deserved to be unanimous, or not...he clearly should not have been the first one. Wilt, Kareem, Moses, and other's should have been long before this season.

Well, this is quite possible the 3rd worst elimination of an mvp in the playoffs. (The top one being DRob getting owned by Hakeem and the other one being Nowitzki's 1st round exit in '07.)

Steph isn't 100%

Like you already said, it's a regular season award. He earned that unanimity like a mother****er. Doesn't matter if he's not playing well right now, he deserved to be unanimous.

This.

As much as I am enjoying watching the Warriors lose, Steph is not 100%. I sprained my ankle really badly about two weeks before Steph sprained his knee... and I'm not even close to 100% yet. I look like it 95% of the time, but I'm not.

Dirk was 100x worse, unanimous or not.

He did, but given how nobody, not Wilt, not MJ, not peak Shaq got a uMVP, Westbrook should have received a couple of votes.
