And yet Westbrook guards Curry and is still capable of raping him on the other end.

Honestly, Westbrook is a better overall player than Curry.

Very curious after he barely guarded top-flight PGs in the regular season. Seems like something Curry lobbied for after hearing whispers about how he doesn't guard. Seems like he bought into his great advanced stats on defense

livingston was out there for a lot of that. i just dont get the decision. even if he did a good job, he is being asked to do something he isnt comfortable with.

most of his impact is coming on offense. putting him on wb for such long stretches, is like asking him to anchor the defense. every play he was getting attacked relentlessly. he probably had to go through 20 screens.

No doubt about that.

The Thunder kept attacking Curry on the offensive end though. Whoever he was switched onto got the ball.

This. Dion Waiters even in Cleveland, was a very good slasher to the basket. he's a big strong combo guard. When he's out there with Westbrook and Durant, it's a bad mismatch for Curry because of the physicality and length.

Donovan found a way to make him exert more effort on defense. Reminds me of what teams do with Kevin Love and Steve Nash back in the day.

Curry is going to hit 6-7 3's at home. He bounces back. OKC should try to wrap this up in 5 because theres like a 4-5 day layover for the next game which benefits a team getting beat up.

honestly its a game of matchups.....when u are the most athletically gifted player in the league (westbrook) you should be able to give a guy like curry (middle of the pack athleticism) fits.

Doesn't make him better than curry. They are just two different players and one has the advantage on defense. Its just no way curry can stay in front of westbrook...hell no one can.

Its funny that this series is 3-1 but the warriors are still in this series...going back home.....crowd is gonna be on their feet.....should be a easy win....the hardest game for both teams will be game 6...whoever wins that game wins the series IMO.....so if the warriors win game 6.....they will win game 7.

But but but Curry is better than MJ, these Warriors would take a dump on the 95-96 Bulls

Klay was on Westbrook for most of the first half

He got torched and put into foul trouble

Curry held him to one bucket at the half and had numerous stops, Westbrook was unable to penetrate on Curry with out screens

Curry is not fatigued, he just can't explode off his knee, he can't rapidly change direction and keep defenders off balance like he normally can

Curry is definitely fatigued. mentally. I didn't hear one person say his injury when he exploded in that quarter in Game 2. He's tired. Westbrook is playing team basketball and Curry and Klay most of the time have been trying to play ISO style.

Donovan is picking on him defensively because Waiters is going at him and Roberson is forcing him to move off the ball defensively. That smile and smirk he's always had dissappeared last night. Your team for the first time, looked like they were doubting if they can beat this OKC team.

He changed direction fine, he just isn't quite strong to handle the physical play. The thunder have also chased him off the 3 point line where he's uncomfortable being a penetrator. Can he do it? Yes but not long stretches like a Westbrook.

Donovan found out if you put Ibaka at C and Durant at PF along with Westbrook at the 3, Small ball kills any team in the league right now with that lineup. Golden State has no big at the 5 that can make Ibaka play man defense. Now you have him and Durant roaming with long wingspans and defense prowess.

Kerr's face yesterday looked like a coach that just can't figure it out. Iggy is great and built to defend a Lebron but not a Durant or Westbrook. It's actually a bad match up for Golden State.

steve kerr said he isn't injured though so where are u getting this information from??? Why didn't the knee affect hom at the end of last series when he put 17 points on the trailblazers in a quarter??

People are looking for excuses. Warriors are getting bullied...draymond is being bullied downlow.....kd and westbrook have been swinging haymakers at the warriors defense.....warriors are going against a team just as fast as them but bigger. The warriors biggest guy is bogut and he is prolly one of the slower big men in the league...hell him and varejao.

Agreed. Don't understand the assignments, lack of adjustments, rotations GSW is making. Not running plays, few screens. They're not really giving themselves a chance to win. If Thompson has fouls, at least put someone like Iguodala on him.
