The way he's cutting off screens means he's able to play at the highest level.

Neither is Steven Adams, Westbrook, and about half of the starters on each team.

ISH is full of doctors. Their word is worth more than the Warriors head coach.

Coaches never truthfully disclose the injury status on their players, especially their best ones. :facepalm

You guys remember when Arian Foster tweeted pictures of his injury a few years ago and his coaching staff went off on him?

You have to keep your opponent in the dark to those type of issues. There is no use giving the other team information that would help them beat you. Telling everyone exactly how injured your Star player is pretty much doing this.

Give it a break. Guess how many NBA Champions had star players with serious strains still play and win it all? A fukton of them.

Will he ever? He's just like B. Beal and D. Rose.

Warrior fans don't get to use injuries as an excuse after dismissing the impact of other teams injuries during their title run

No NBA player in the league is healthy in May.

I'm sorry, but if you're on the court you have no excuse. And if he is hurt, maybe he shoulda sat out then if he knew he was going to hurt his team. So he's other a selfish azzhole or he is healthy. Pick one and only one.

It's not an excuse

It's just stating the facts

dont have to be so defensive

It's called being hypocrites. Love and irvings injuries meant nothing to warrior fans and the cavs were actually better withiut them, but let's cry a river over a guy that can actually play in meaningful games unlike Kyrie and love who missed a chunk of the eastern conference finals and the finals. Give us a break. Your team is full of scumbags like Green and your fan base is just as bad. The last people that should ever bring up injuries are warrior fans. You guys are bitches.

No one is.

Kobe won b2b titles with broken fingers and a bad knee

won the title and still got criticized for going 6/24 in a game, no one brought up the fact he played basically on one leg all Playoffs.

greens last two games: 6 ppg, 7.5 rpg, 2.5 apg, 5 TOV, .125/000/100 shooting splits  they should make him retire

Didn't he drop 40 the very first game he came back against Portland? No sign of injury then, but now that he's struggling, we gonna pull that card? It's also hilarious that any Warriors fan would be complaining about injuries, given the various injuries that aided their championship run last year. Lettuce be real, Westbrook is a bad matchup for him, and Durant can match his scoring. The Thunder bigs all bring different things to the table that the Warrior bigs starting with Draymond can't figure out. At the very least Klay can defend if his shot isn't falling, and has done a good job on Westbrook in spurts. Curry's game and energy is predicated on his dynamic offense, now that it's left him at the worst possible time the rest of his game suffers and like some of us have been saying all season, he's not a difference maker on defense, I don't care what his steals stats are. Dude has looked straight deflated out there at times.

He re-aggravated the MCL injury by coming back too soon in the Portland series.

Yep...coming back two weeks after a mild sprain that most great athletes would have immediately shrugged off and continued to play with. An injury that, at most, required a week of healing.

Of course, we have numerous examples of truly great athletes playing, and producing, with FAR worse injuries.

:facepalm

We'll if you want to put it that way, golden state were lucky last year because every team that they played against in the playoffs and finals were missing a key guy!!

Meh, plenty of great players have dealt with worse and found a way to be effective. It's as has been stated numerous times this year, take away his shooting and he doesn't otherwise impact the game to any major degree. As I said earlier, if Klay's shot is off he's an effective defender, and has defended Westbrook well in spurts. Curry without his shooting is nothing but a decoy, he's not defending, he's not dictating pace, he's not rebounding....in short, the deficiencies in his game are being exposed in a way they otherwise wouldn't be when things are going well.
