Apologia. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QkGOiH0lMtk)
A true classic of western literature, and as there aren't any really good audiobook recordings of it out there on Youtube, I figured I'd supply one.
IMO the only true way to take in something as profound and acroamatic as this is through a reading from a guy in a fake beard and affected Greek accent. It was a duty, and a pleasure, fellas.
Please don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe!
And most of all, enjoy!

The unexamined life AINT. WORTH. LIVING.
Love how much of a dick Socrates was. So what do you actually know? You know nothing.
There's good Apology podcasts on itunes. That's where I first heard it. I'll listen to your version later on.

Thanks breau. Id like to do a really professional version at some point, where I can pace back and forth, use a legit microphone, superimpose an Athenian court room onto a green screen etc. Just dont have the time/means at this very moment.
For now just a simple recording in front of my computer, dressed in a toga and fake gray beard. But fugg it, figured why not.

Don't nobody got time for that bullshit (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZXsQAXx_ao0) :facepalm
Finally talked myself into purchasing like $3,000 in some high end/prosumer film gear. Planning on filming a short based on a short story by Flannery O'Connor this Summer or early Fall. Was originally going to rent all the shit I needed, but figured at a certain point it just makes more sense to own... Especially if I turn around and rent out the gear through a third party like Borrow Lenses.
Gives me the flexibility to shoot whenever I want, plus a nice little side revenue stream. If it works out, in the end it ends up costing me nothing and eventually making me money.

Well recording The Apology of Socrates is really more of a passion project, I am investing money right now into some other projects that have a better likelyhood of a ROI. But some day I think itd be cool to have the definitive performance of this piece out there on Youtube, even if its not somethin Im gonna make any money off of.

Also, guys, there's some further editing that needs to be done, a little bit of overlap in some of the takes. I'll get it straightened out and replace the current version with the final copy soon. Stay tuned!
