Joakim Noah may have belted out his last primal scream in a Bulls uniform.

Noah has been telling teammates in recent weeks that he was done with the organization once free agency begins, and

It all started with Thibs. Looks like Fred Hoiberg walked into a bad situation less than 1 year later later getting hired on.

noah as the dubs starting C, playing anywhere from 20-25 minutes a game sounds pretty damn amazing. great passer, who can have a similar impact as green on offense via playmaking, while still being a vocal leader on D.

Tom Thibodeau is known as a coach that runs his players to the ground, make their careers shorter and injury-prone. Rose and Noah have experienced the wrath of Thibodeau, and now its Wiggins and Towns' turn.

Noah is always welcome on the Lakers. With a reasonable contract, of course.

:kobe:

Bulls stay losing. The franchise that Michael literally built, because nobody would know or care about them if not for the GOAT.

yea because playing a 22 year old 40 plus minutes a night is bad.lol

You act like drose was 35 when he got hurt....smh sit down somewhere.

You suppose to play your best player at 22 years of age 25 minutes a night???

I don't get the logic. People put too much emphasis on coachin when it come to player nutrirition. Its up to the players to make sure they are taking care of their body and getting the proper rest between games.

Spurs would welcome him with open arms. Get it done.

Hoiberg pretty much marginalized him this year. I wouldn't go back.

He hasn't been the same since his knee surgery. His days of being part of a starting line-up are over.

You completely misunderstood the point. It was not the playing time that matters, it was more of the fact that Thibodeau gave excessive training sessions before/after games that exhausted their players further. Wilt played 48 mins per game, and nothing was wrong, but he would be seriously injury-prone under Thibodeau even if he played only 38 mins a game, because Thibodeau would give him extra and extra training tasks between games.

Pat Riley was also known as such a coach who ran his players to the ground, its not a coincidence that Magic Johnson, James Worthy, Dwayne Wade all had short primes/careers under the influence of Riley. Thibodeau is just, another Pat Riley.

Noah will be a solid backup somewhere. Not a great loss for the Bulls at this stage.

Joe Cowley wrote that article. If you know anything about Chicago media it means Noah will be re-signing immediately. That writer is crap and makes up things to stir the pot.

Thibs had the Bulls playing 82 playoff games per regular season.

He's pretty much done as a player. Limited minutes won't make a difference either. He's not the same athlete anymore and will provide close to zero contribution to any team that takes him.

If he'll come in at role player money, eh maybe. He was always a glorified role player.

That said, I dont want him as he doesn't fit the team's plan. He's better off signing with a contender as a reserve.

Noah's agent in response that he wants out.

“Joakim and I speak on a daily basis about his future. There has been zero indication from him that he doesn’t wish to return to the Bulls.”

Damage control.

How many times have we seen agent or executive deny any claims then it turns out to be completely true after all?
