No. But Bender will absolutely be taken at #3. I don't even know who else has a case.

As a Celtics fan I would encourage them to do this. Its in everyone's best interests.

NO :facepalm
They already screwed over their franchise last year by getting cute and wasting the #2 pick on D'Bustaslow instead of sure thing Okafor. If they do it again by passing on a sure thing in Simmons/Ingram for some Eurobum...

Dunn, Dragen, Simmons you cant go wrong with either 3
I went through the tape. Dragon is Steven Adams with a softer touch on offense.

Agreed except I'd replace Simmons with Ingram, he actually made the tournament.

Lakers will f*ck this up. They are good at evaluating players after they become NBA all-stars. That is the extent of their ability to scout.

Yeah 2nd round picks like Larry Nance & JC really proves that huh?
Same goes for Randle, Russle and the last time they had a lotto pick before that they took Bynum, idiot.

Lakers are one of the best teams when it comes to drafting guys. They have a great track record. :facepalm

picked Randle with the 7th pick, played his first year this season averaging a double-double, arguably the 2nd best player from that draft
picked Clarkson late in the 2nd round, made all-rookie first team and had some big games against NBA's best point guards
picked Russell last year, who didn't get to play point guard that much under Scott with Kobe and Clarkson being on the floor at the same time, but proved he could shoot the NBA three, had better scoring numbers than Porzingis, who everybody raved about.
Also picked Bynum with the 13th pick back in 2006, injuries robbed him but he was the best big man in the league in 2012.
It's hard to mess up the 2nd pick when Ingram and Simmons are clearly the two best players in the draft, they will pick whichever is available.

Russell was a good pick. I dunno what people are thinking. Dude dropped like 39 points at age 19 and then feasted on the Warriors. His offensive game is solid. Defensively, he needs work but he'll get there I think.

Russell is very talented but he needs the opportunity to be the guy that runs the offense. He can definitely score but the passing is what the experts raved about. He should have the chance to display it under Walton.
