2015 losses: 22pts - 37% FG / 31% 3pt / 82% FT / 4 turnovers a game
2016 losses: 23pts - 37% FG / 31% 3pt / 82% FT / 4.6 turnovers a game

basically the same player in losses. Was he injured last playoffs in his losses too?

Curry was a 30ppg scorer this season. If he has the same stats as the lesser player he was last year then it stands to reason he wasnt quite himself

Intensity in the playoffs is much higher than the regular season. He was a better scorer in the regular season compared to the last because he tried much harder than others. Golden state put more effort than other teams in the regular season and tried harder than it did in 2014-2015. Steph is the same player. Just can't take the physical play and pressure of the playoffs

What magical formula do you have that you know that Steph tried much harder? Some of you are quite the morons.

OP Steph was much better this year than 15. Expectations were much higher for him to perform and he disappointed. IMO he had injuries which hampered his top form. We're going to have to wait 10 months to see him again. :facepalm

The warriors were motivated in the regular season to prove their doubters wrong. Theyve said this much. They wanted to show that last year wasn't a fluke and they all played at an extra gear, steph included. Come playoff time when his opponents are playing him harder he turns into stephanie

By this logic all chokes are actually caused by injuries

Has a 30 pt scorer this season compared to 23 last season. So the 22 last season is only down 1 point. Also they only lost 5 games in the playoffs compared to 9 this season.

Bingo!

Instead of proving themselves in the playoffs, they busted ass for a petty regular-season record, in an effort to 'prove the haters wrong!'... :oldlol:

Backfired and they ended up with the biggest choke in NBA history, blowing a 3-1 lead in the NBA finals. :yaohappy:

he may have been injured... but that does not excuse he poor shooting decisions and horrific turnovers he made in the finals.

that is just horrible basketball choices.

Coach Kerr gave him a lose leash. Not just him, Klay was taking quick 3's constantly.
