Yup. Been saying this for quite some time.. LeBran is just one of the guys. Kyrie is the alpha male/leader/ best player. LeRobin is more comfortable that way.

Also has significantly more assists and is the primary ball-handler.

The funny thing is LeBron's even averaging more ppg on better efficiency than Kyrie these playoffs. That's supposed to be Kyrie's one advantage. Not to sh!t on him, of course. He has been very good so far this postseason, but the impact-stats(any stat, actually) are so heavily on LeBron's side, this is not even a comparison. Cleveland still completely falls apart without LeBron on the floor.

If you have been watching the Cavs this postseason and have thought Kyrie has been better than LeBron there is literally no hope for you. You should take up knitting and stop soiling this website with your idiocy.

Yep

He's doing a great job of playing within the team to everyone's strengths and picking his spots.

Hopefully his shot comes back, because this is the most versatile we have ever seen his offensive game. He's finally fully embraced his big man versatility

Primarily as the roll man... It's opened up a whole new facet of his game. And his willingness to let the PG control possession, has allowed him to essentially get lost on plays and cut to the basket out of nowhere for easy points...

Add that to his well established post game..

You've got PnR roll man, off-ball cutting, post ups... Those are all multiplied too due to his passing ability and being able to see the whole floor and find the open man

In result, you've got a guy who's outside shot has been bricking, yet he's shooting 54%, playing within a team offense

I think if he sticks to spot up shooting, he can do well enough from the outside

Truthfully, just from watching, it appears that Kyrie handles the ball more than Lebron when he is in the game. Even when Delly is in the game, Lebron rarely brings the ball up court. The difference is when Lebron gets the ball he is looking more to make a play for his teammates. When Kyrie has the ball in the half court he's looking more to score himself.

Also, Lebron's off ball game has tremendously evolved. So many of his field goals are off pick and rolls or cuts to the basket. Last night 6 of his 10 field goals were assisted.

You're right. I should have said he's the primary playmaker.

Lebron doing 3.2 turnover per game, Kyrie only 2 turnovers per game.

This is one of the reasons I prefer Kyrie as the point guard. Even last season, Kyrie had a much higher assist to turnover ratio than lebron. Lebron turns the ball over too much. He's gotten better at limiting turnovers this year compared to last , though

LeBron averages more assists, has a higher assist/turnover ratio, and scores more points on a higher percentage this playoffs.

"Doing more turnovers" is fine for me.

Yeah, now, but before game 3, Kyrie had much better efficiency. The 3/19 performance heavily skewed his averagea

He channeled his inner Kobe for that.

Literally no one in the world, except you, would pick Irving over James for playmaking.

The problem with kyrie is when he's the pnr ball handler, he almost never passes the ball. It always ends with his jumper

He's not a playmaker. He looks to score almost every time..
