It seems whenever theere is a defender on either shooter, they kick their legs out sideways and act like Lawrence Taylor blew them up.

This is very hard to watch

Because the NBA keeps allowing them to draw fouls with flopping.

You are literally not allowed to guard Westbrook anymore...if he drives into your chest, you're getting a foul.

I've been playing basketball for 30 years, and I've never fallen down on a jumper without getting hacked HARD or having someone step under my feet.

It's embarrassing watching NBA players fall down after every jumper. Jamal Crawford is the master of this bait strategy. That's why he's the all time leader in 4-point plays.

It's a league-wide problem. The way the NBA has evolved, and is continuing to evolve, can make some difficult to watch basketball. But that's the way it is now and it's only getting worse from what I can see. Refs are going to allow it. Players are going to abuse it and find ways to push the limit. Refs and the NBA either react accordingly or let it happen like they have thus far.

To get free throws.

Is it not obvious?

Because it works. Look at the FT disparity (Dubs were favored a bit more tonight though). Klay and Bogut were put on the bench by imaginary fouls because of this, and it helps them built momentum individually when you make 4-6 FTs in 2-3 minutes.
