I assume this is part of your obvious anti-Kobe agenda but posting good months of one of the most inconsistent players in NBA history is a bit misleading ha ha ha

Why not post his season stats for the year immediately AFTER he won sixth man of the year?

6.6ppg, 35% FG, 59% FT, 4.2 rpg, 1.7 apg.

Yeah those six threads that he has on the first page that haven't even gotten double digit replies just scream genius.

Kobe's name didn't even come up in the op, stop it.

Anyway, Odom was a fun and unique talent. 6'10 with handles and passing and could get you double digit rebounds. Inconsistent shooter but good enough to make you respect him from the 3. He was never quite a star player in my book because of his lack of intensity and work ethic, but the talent was fun to watch.

What about 2004? That was probably his best individual season.

He did this as a 2nd option, then a 3rd option when Pau came in 2008!

definition of inconsistent but not bad for a 2nd option on a playoff team and pretty good for a 3rd option on a contender.

His impact on the Lakers championships is definitely underrated...but that has more to do with the fact that kobe stans give credit to nobody else but him when it comes to success. (though with failure it's the TEAM who failed) He was the best and most versatile defensive player on those championship teams while being one of the best all around players in the league: rebounding, passing, scoring.
