They'll probably just pay cash for one. They really don't have any assets to trade.

lol...why would Boston do that? While they do need some star power...they certainly don't need a Carmelo Anthony in his early 30s and on the slide. Besides...Carmelo has a trade clause and I don't see him wanting to go to Boston.

I believe you can only purchase 2nd round picks.


I don't see anyone in the top pick range that would be interested in Melo.

What's the highest they can buy? I'm assuming no one wants to sell a lottery pick :oldlol: What good is a 28th pick?

depends...if a team does not want to have that first round pick salary tacked onto their salary cap, they can save money that way plus get 3 million in cash, or a future 2nd round pick
