Anyone been?

Thanks.

Weird because my brother just went there yesterday after graudation.

And yes it's extremely fun. I've rode the Dragster and Millenium Force several times and I can tell you it's an amazing experience.

I go there every summer cause it's only like 2 hours away

Is it absolutely mandatory to get the fast pass and does this fast pass work properly?

I do not want to wait for hours to ride one ride.

Well it's not mandatory considering I've never gotten it but yeah it's probably worth it.

And the waits are worth it. Dragster and Millenium are the GOAT coasters

I grew up around 30 min away and at least one visit per summer was mandatory.

I haven't been there in years now but if I had kids I imagine I would go a lot.

Went there once and the lines were insane. I made it onto 4 coasters in about 6 hours. The coasters were good, but I prefer the parks near me. I'd rather go on decent coasters 30 times in an afternoon.

i second that.

Cedar point is bigger and better but when you reach adulthood and have to start shelling out for those tickets and you realize you just spend like 50 bucks to ride on 4 coasters and wait in line... F*ck amusement parks. They are a lot more fun when you don't gotta pay.

It's one of the greatest places on Earth. So much fun. It's a lot better than the 90s, because they have so many good rides you don't have to wait nearly as much. You can ride the magnum, Gemini, Mean Streak, etc. over and over most days and subject yourself to the 2.5 hour line only when you really want to do one of the new ones.

Make it a 2 day trip if you don't want it to be a huge rush.

Cedar Point is the GOAT of "theme parks" (Not including Disney). Line wise it depends on when you go. Best times are right now and fall before they close. Best days to go are Wednesday and Thursday. (If you go Friday-Monday I would HIGHLY recommend a fast pass especially if you want to ride alot of the coasters and water rides). I have seen the Lines for some of the coasters at 3 hours before.

If you have small children, I personally would recommend Kings Island over Cedar Point as Kings Island has been voted as having the best kids area of any park in the USA. If your kids are old enough for coasters though Cedar Point is the place to go. (Although Kings Island has the Beast, Banshee and Diamondback which are also amazing coasters).

^ +1 on the King's Island if you have younger children ^

Ohio rednecks are easily amused. Do not fall for the hype.
