Welcome to retail where the "customer is always right". That was literally the motto when I worked in retail. Customers would try to return shit from other stores and yell in my face that I didn't accept it.

It's kinda scary because alot of these people who bitch and complain to the store employees aren't actually bad people when you get to know them. But it must be something in human nature that you'll treat some employees you'll never see again in your life like shit. It's also a power trip because alot of these people know the "Customer is always right" and know if they make a scene they'll get what they want, like a little kid.

This woman got screwed around big time and made a mild rant video about it.

She deserves a candle for free for an error like that. You don't make someone drive 30 mins to pick up a product you don't have.

I'm not an emotional person that rants and raves, but I understand why people get upset at broken promises regarding their purchases.

I've been quite successful in sales in the past, and part of that is I don't punish a customer for my errors. Certainly don't act rude and tell them to call a number.

You're a retard to compare that old man to the beached whale. Additionally, the old man was 100% correct in his viewpoint. No rational argument can be made otherwise. His emotions escalated more quickly than mine would have but he was still right. The subway employees were idiotic and rude, especially the Hershey highway riding ******.

The dispute had nothing to do with taxes and yet those two clowns couldn't figure that out despite him serving it to them on a silver platter. And that is why they're working at subway and will probably continue to do so.

As far as the beached whale goes, she is right to be irritated at someone telling her they had it, she drives there, and they don't. That's bullshit. However, where she gets it wrong is not just moving on and forgiving once the apology happened. Not only does she not let it go after the apology, she makes and uploads this video when the truth is she's only really upset at the fact that the candles aren't in her possession... and that she's incredibly fat and self loathes... it's referred to as "displacement".
