View Full Version : How do you rebuild the Warriors?

After losing WCF, the Warriors historical season had a stunning ending that many people did not expect. Worse news for them, they are getting exposed, and will never be as good as they were in this year's regular season. The championship window has been shut, and their ceiling will be 2nd round exit with this core that lacks talents.
So do you think, its rebuilding time for GSW? And how should they rebuild? In my opinion Curry is declining and should be traded for picks immediately when he still has value. Green is overrated and exposed, hes never that good of a player to begin with, trading him is also a possibility. Klay Thompson is the only bright point of this team, they should rebuild around Thompson in future. If they tank a few years and grab some picks, they may be back to playoffs in 3-4 years, which isnt too bad for a rebuilding team.

If GSW somehow managed to win this game, the curse is real.

Why do the Lakers need Curry when they already had a young and promising Dangelo Russell? They will pick up Barnes and Ezeli though.

D'Angelo moves to 2 and comes off the bench.

The Lakers wont do this, they can snatch Barnes in FA, while Iguodala and Bogut are useless other than the fact that they are expiring contract.

Thunder in 7, when a team comes back from down 1-3 and wins game 7, it does it in dominant fashion, winning by an average of at least 15pts per game. The Warriors won game 5 and 6, but they were not dominant, cannot survive on luck for three straight games.

How are you wrong so often?
It is almost statistically impossible to be this wrong, this amount of times.
People should hire you to go to casinos with them and just bet against your advice. Put your "special" abilities to good use.

He is trying to flip-flop his way out of his statements regarding GSW already. In two days he wll assure us he always knew OKC would lose. Just wait.

Sounds like some bizarro version of Rainman. :oldlol:
But yeah, what a stupid f*cking thread. Even if you are right and GSW loses on Monday, you made this tpic before last nights game - a game where OKC got their souls snatched.

The Warriors are likely going to win their second straight title and cap a historic season and you're talking about rebuilding? Is this real life? They have the best 2 shooters in the game, the most versatile PF in the game, great role players, and great depth. They're built just fine.

Dont get so excited, theres still NBA Finals. If the Warriors dont win it all, they should rebuild, regardless of whether the blow is dealt by OKC Thunder or Cleveland Cavaliers.

Do not resign Barnes, Bogut, Ezeli. Sign D12. This team has enough scoring. They need D and fuking rebounding.

I think its time to discuss this. How do you rebuild the Warriors? Should they trade away Curry, Green and build around Thompson as I suggested? Their championship window is closed with this rosters, no way Curry will ever recover from this.

Kevin Durant and Pau Gasol. With 2 more current all-stars is enough.
