Klay kept them in the game when things weren't looking to good for them and Curry sealed the deal. Both impressive but the edge to Klay.

nah they pretty much took turns sealing the deal... Curry hit the game tying 3, Klay the go ahead 3, Curry the banker...
and Klay was the one keeping them in it scoring wise of course, so him.

Watching the game, Curry pretty much laid an egg up until the 4th quarter.
He did all of his "clutch" shooting AFTER Klay went off and kept them alive.
I don't give a shit about the stat lines, Klay won this game.

lol. Curry was invisible for 3,5 quarters. Without Klay they get blown out by halftime.

I thought Klay was more important last night.
But Curry stepped up and hit the big shots. People are actually trying to knock Curry after a 30 point triple double? :oldlol:
They both played well. Klay was consistently good, but Curry stepped up in the 4th. I thought Draymond was the best player on the court though. Just my opinion though.

 Every poster here who said Curry (including PlowKing who I like as a fellow Heat fan) is ****ing delusional
If not for Klay catching absolute fire and hitting unconscious shots this game was a blowout.
Arguing because Steph had a near triple double, more than half his assists were just making a simple chest pass to Klay who made insane 3 pointers with a hand in his face.

Klay had the best game, it's not debatable. Curry and Iguadala were fantastic though, Dala is getting underrated and not talked about with that fantastic D at the end of the game. Got an important layup as well.

This. The objective of the game is scoring, and Klay scored more and when it mattered most.

I think Klay was more important but he didn't shoot 11-18. Those were only his 3 pointers. Curry's statline looks better, but watching the game... w/o Klay they lose by 15.

To me, it wasn't about stats. The Warriors were lets face it, intimidated, by OKC's physicality. They would drive to the hoop, think twice and kick out. Their nerves made them drop easy passes (see Bogut, Barnes). And Curry was hiding much of the game (until the 4th). In the face of this, Klay was absolutely fearless. People will remember the 3s but it wasn't just the 3s. He played with total confidence, dribbling unhesitantly, driving against OKC's defenders, unworried about rim protectors. He kept them close, but also gave the other Warriors the confidence they demonstrated in Q4.
In that kind of game, even when your team leader seems daunted by the opposing team, showed grit in willing his team to victory and refusing to let the other team get in his head. It was a case study in mental toughness.

I clearly said Klay had a better game. Curry didn't have a bad one though like some people are suggesting. Draymond Green for me was the player of the game though.

Klay was locked in and everyone else fed off his energy and confidence, they lose if Klay even misses half of those threes.

Triple doubles are mad overrated.. Eye test showed that Klay was the man that night. Curry is still the main man and best player, but Klay stole the show.

Curry played very well overall and his statline was better, but Klay completely saved the team and absolutely deserves more credit for yesterday's game.

Klay set a NBA playoff record for made 3s in the playoffs, and many of those were heavily contested, so i will go with him.
Not taking anything away from Curry though. Nice game from him.

Not to take anything away from Curry, but he did need the confidence boost that Klay provided. Klay was keeping them in the game until Curry was able to feed off the momentum. Curry was running after numerous loose balls and hustling his ass off so although he was in a slump in the first half, he pull through in the 4th.

That was the greatest shooting performance in the playoffs history.

Actually Barkley once scored 56 points on 74.2% shooting in the playoffs. The ones he missed were no call fouls. It was on the warriors in 94 and it was sick as hell.

Yup. Curry had the more impressive looking stat-line, but Klay was clearly the player of the game and the savior of the Warriors season to anyone who watched the game.

ironic because you're a dumb motherless fack and we are talking about a fact lebrontards ignore most of the time.
If you're just going by statlines, Curry's is better. If you're going on impact of the game, Klay.
This is why stats are misleading at times.

I think Curry defended really well and was playing good team basketball, moving the ball the right way, pin point sharp passes all throughout the game. The rebounding was great too.
But Klay's game was better, any time you hit 10+ threes, it's really hard to lose

Currys 3s were front runner 3s.
It's like when lebron hits a bunch of jumpers..he does it when game is in hand at times. Curry hit when they got the lead me there was no pressure for him because klay was so automatic.
Klay is more dangerous offensively due to his size and skill. Keep curry off the 3 point line and he's pedestrian. Keep klay off the 3 line and watch him drive post up and shoot 2s.

This is why stats are misleading at times.I'm on the opposite side. I feel like if I opened up a random box score and saw 31, 10, and 9, I'd be really impressed. Very Grant Hill-like, or Magic, or Penny, or Russell Westbrook even.
However, going only off statlines, if I took at gander at that same box score, in a potential elimination game of the Western Conference Finals, and saw someone not only scored 41 points, but did so while raining 11-of-18 3-point attempts... it's almost comical.
Drilling that many threes in that situation would have usually been obnoxious enough for me to quit my game and not save my data on 2K because it was just too unrealistic.

Curry is a lot better than Klay, what is this? He's got the highest lay up % in the league and scores them in ridiculous ways. Calling Steph one dimensional a day after he got 10/9/2 statline outside of points :facepalm
