Both of these guys are not affected by anything other than doing what is necessary to win. Not sure we can say that about other player performances over the years. Never seen a guy look that unshook since MJ when the season is on the line.

In contrast Durrant was horribly shook and cost OKC the game.

How many FMVP votes did he receive for his clutch performance in the finals last season?

I'm talking about what we saw now, not last season.

MJ couldn't ever get above .500 for a season w/o Pippen.

Again, Klay saved Curry's legacy last night. Curry needed all 40 of those Klay points to save his ass from being knocked out

I agree 100%.

It's like when Barkley put up 56 on 74.2% shooting. These guys had games with a zero fvcks given attitude and when the shots fall, you just keep letting them fly. Klay did exactly that and broke a record which gave Curry the courage to actually utilize his talents. Without Klay, Curry would have been lost in the 4th qtr.

The Bulls won 50 games before Pippen was even a starter. I'm sure they would have finished above .500 without his 8/4/2 in 20 mpg.

Not a big LeBron fan but, uh, his Game 6 performance @ Boston...?

:confusedshrug:

You're a confusing poster dude. You'll make decent topics and then there's one like this that's FULL retard.

Never go full retard...

I mean, he was awesome.

One clutch game doesn't make you alone with MJ in a tier like that though.

A lot of people have had huge games in huge moments, including guys you hate.

Pay no mind to Hey Yo, he's just upset that lebron could have been in position to surpass MJ but failed and embarrassed an entire era.

Forgot about that one, and it's an honorable mention.

That was one display where I had to tip my hat off to LeBron. Guy completely eviscerated Bean Town.

Like that other poster said, though, neither performance puts them in a tier with MJ in said category.

Mike ain't called the "God of Playoffs" for nuthin' :pimp:

Im not talking history wise, just that specific game. It was an MJ like shooting performance in terms of willing yourself to not lose. In that game, Klay took on the mindset of:

IM NOT GOING HOME BECAUSE I FORGOT HOW TO LOSE.

That is the mentality that one must undergo to pull off what he did. He literally had to mindfvck himself like MJ would do.

Lebron has never won a title without Udonis Haslem. Fact.
