Well look at your target inferior audience of today in comparison to the superior audiences of before. Today's mindset is predicated on everyone has to be a winner and instant gratification. You see it in the sports they play where every kid gets a trophy and the video games they play where it's not a matter of a game being to hard to beat, but rather time consuming with minimal difficulty. If Warriors (or OKC) had to go through the juggernauts of Detroit, Atlanta, and Toronto on the way to the finals to play the Cavs, it'd be the biggest sweep of all time with 20+ point blowouts each game. They'd be fresh and well rested on another level. Instead it's a ****ing civil war out here, just makes it THAT much MORE impressive if the West champion beats the Cavs after getting bloodied and bruised for weeks out West.

The effort OKC gave was incredible. Tremendous game 1 to steal the dubs' advantage. KD and WB playing out of their minds and guys like Steven Adams showing what it really means to be a big boy (only Tristan Thompson comes close).

The truth is that ever since The big 3 in Boston faded there has been only one true contender on the East, Bron's team. Meanwhile the West has 3-4 legit contenders who have to battle each other just to reach the finals. So usually the West team is more beat up so yes Bron can win a few. If he played in the West he'd most likely only have made 3-4 finals. If Spurs big 3, Durant & Westbrook OKC or current Warriors switched places with Bron's team they would also easily coast to the finals every year.
