I mean it's gotta be Klay right? I don't even see how Curry stans can use Ray Allen as an argument against lebron when klay sunk 11 3's to save Currys 73-9 unanimous mvp season

so anytime a teammate goes off, the star is considered bailed out?

I guess JR smith bailed Lebron out vs the raptors

smh

Let's see here....one three pointer or 41 points?

Ray Allen "bailing out" Lebron is only used as a joke by people on ISH. It is more correctly known as the headband game for Lebron where the headband came off and he turned the entire game around in the 4th quarter.

Also Curry didn't even have a bad game in game 6...so that's no bail out either.

I guess when Kerr hit those shots for the Bulls Jordan got bailed out.

Keep in mind that they weren't on the verge of being eliminated

klays was a bigger bailout

Ray allen's only occured because of the officiating favoring the spurs huge that game. The game wouldn't have been close if refs were decent. Karma came through at the end.

Ray's shot was the best shot in NBA history.
So yeah, it's Ray. Much bigger stakes too.

Klay's was a bigger bailout because it was an insane display that's not very repeatable. There have been plenty of game-deciding clutch shots in crucial games by elite shooters like Allen, Kerr, etc. Klay was clutch like 10 shots in a row exactly when GSW was in danger of letting OKC end up blowing them out by 15 points.

Curry almost blew a 73-9 unanimous mvp season to the THUNDER

Definitely Klay.

It's one thing for someone to shoot a clutch shot to help your team win. Fisher, Artest, Horry did this many times as guys like Kerr/Paxson.

Needing a 40 pt performance from your teammate to stay in the game to save from elimination is a totally different story. When LeBron was on the verge of being eliminated, he was the one dropping 40+, not his teammate.

Only Fisher's shot can compare in my opinion.

Curry was just as instrumental in the win as Klay was, and hit a lot of big shots down the stretch.

The whole ray allen situation was probably the best depiction of a bailout you'll ever see, preventing the team from losing the finals, saving a superstar's legacy and just taking the opposition's soul.

How?
He got 29-10-9 with great clutch play. And was good on defense also. He played a complete game

LeBron had 32/10/11 in game 6 and willed his team back into it as well as hitting the 3 before Ray Allen's.

The difference is that LeBron got his team back in the game just like Klay did and set them up to be in a position to win

The second part of that sentence is true, the first isn't. Curry only showed up at the end after Klay kept GSW's morale up.

Allen's bail out was a shot... without LeBron's work he wouldnt have been in the position to hit it.

Klay carried the whole game, ala Reggie Jackson '14.

I think it's more klay that people are pissed at, considering he's the reason Curry is still playing tonight.

The nature of the thread is off, but Ray Allen's shot was in the finals so I would go with that.

The thread asked "bailout", not "bailout shot". There's a difference.

Yes, he turned the game around in the Heat's favour, but then turned it right back in favour of the Spurs with like 3 straight turnovers, driving the ball nowhere.

Wrong game. When Kerr hit those 5 threes off bench and bailed Duncan out.

People do realise Curry got 22 points in the second half yeah?

Ray Allen's is a bigger "bailout", especially because it followed a LeBron miss.

But LeBron had also previously hit a huge 3. So it's not really much of a bailout either. Neither are.
