#BringBackFundamentals

This is something special. I will be making a campaign video that we together will spread on social media, to get the NBA to notice this..

The 3pt shot has gone too far... The game is now an exhibition of gimmicky basketball. This is due to rule changes and referee interpretations changing over the years.. With this, we've seen the death of the handcheck, a true form of physical quality defense, and the death of the bigman... A true back to the basket bigman hasn't won the MVP since Tim Duncan and Shaq in the early 2000's, before the 2004 handcheck changes took place.

The game has become unbalanced, unfair.

We NEED to make a change.

For the better.

Join my movement, spread the word...

Seriously...what the **** am I watching? Little display of any other skillset. It's just PNR and 3s all day. Plus these foul calls for merely touching a player is ridiculous...

Solution 1:Reinstating the handcheck
- It's impossible to defend perimeter shooters with this interpretation of the rules
- We need a return back to pre 2004 hand check interpretations
- This should bring balance and efficacy back to perimeter defenders, the most marginalized demographic in the NBA today
- This will make ball handling off the dribble shooting efficiency drop, promoting a more balanced, team brand of basketball

Solution 2: Bring back the big man
- Change the back to the basket rule, from 5 seconds to 10+
- Bring back a portion of the old rules with how you are allowed to defend the post up
- This should increase the efficiency of the post up play, bringing back a greater emphasis to the bigman

Remember, we're all in this together

Bro, the defensive 3 second is BY FAR the biggest culprit.

The open lane because of def 3 makes defenders have to sag off to not allow an open 1-2-3 to the basket.

And yeah, fukk that gather step nonsense too. 2 steps that's it.
