Why wouldnt KD take a hard look at Minny when he becomes a free agent?
Just look at this roster!
Rubio / Jones
Lavine / #5
Wiggins / Bazz - Rudez
KD / Bjelica - KG
Towns / Dieng - Pekovic
That's a great lineup esp with Thibs at the helm
Wolves dont even need to dump Pekovic bc they have bird rights for Dieng, Bazz, and Lavine
KD will take that team to the 2nd round and possibly even the WCF and after one year playing together and another year of maturing for Lavine/Wiggins/Towns they will be ready to make a run in their second season together
Even if the #5 pick turns out to be only just a solid role player, that still helps the Wolves immensely as they get a cheap contract for the next 4 seasons
What do other teams have to offer?
Wizards? Wall and an oft injured Beal
Miami? Chris Bosh and DWade's dead weight, not enough $ to even get him
Lakers? Snitch-Randle-#2 - lottery team in a rebuilding year
Warriors? Ruin his reputation to join the team that took him out, doubt it
Hopefully the ghost of Flip Saunders can haunt KD and convince him to come to Minny.
