View Full Version : Who should Thunder try to add?

Which pieces make them better? Clearly they need a SG who can give a legitimate scoring punch without trying to do too much.
IMO adding someone like Mario Chalmers for a backup PG would be a very good move. And they need someone like C.J. Miles who knows his role, can score the ball and is a competent defender.
Westbrook/Chalmers/Payne
Roberson/Waiters
Durant/Miles/Morrow
Ibaka/Collison
Adams/Kanter
Toss Foye, Singler to the curb. Play Morrow more.

They need a couple two way players. Not anything special but guys that are not a complete liability on one side of the floor. Isn't Dudley a free agent this summer? They could use a player like that i think.

Dwight Howard at center. Move Steve Adams to power forward, bench Ibaka again, and get a better starting shooting guard. Figure out how to keep Durant. Hell, a 7 foot front court worked for Kobe and the Lakers.

Ryan Anderson could help so many teams out, including OKC.
I honestly think a spot up SG would do them wonders. But then again, they had a couple and didn't work. Maybe that was Brooks' bad coaching? Maybe they'd be better now. Why not throw Morrow in and have him run baseline to baseline occasionally?
I dunno.
Thunder seemed pretty good to me, but just lost. Maybe they don't need to get better. If you ask me, they have the most talent in the league. They just need to play better and have a little luck on their side. Luck plays a massive part in a series this close. Few shots rattle out instead of in for GSW and maybe they win. They're a great team, and they just lost.

Give every single dollar to Evan Fournier after signing Durrant.

I think Roberson played well. But what OKC could use is a 2 guard who is a bit more of a playmaker/assist guy. This would free Westbrook up to attack and defend with even more ferocity.
In any case, they don't need much. They nearly beat the Warriors.
Respect. :applause:

I don't think there is any hope for OKC.

Yes DeRozan clearly fits in, just need to add few more basketballs too.

Trade Serge. The Adams-Kanter front court is the way to go.

This. They have a good defender bad shooter in Roberson,
good shooter bad defender in Morrow....
What they REALLY NEED is a 2-way player who can flat out defend and hit that open 3pt shot.
Courtney Lee is a good defender who has a career FG% of 38% from the 3pt line.

they need a veteran play maker who can shoot the 3 and lead the team in the locker room
KD and Russ don't have the composure

Ariza would be nice but they don't have the cap for him
