has to be the worst foul in playoff history. thunder were only down 4. they had a chance to get back in the game.

It was a weak call but it was a foul. And they had to call it to prevent a comeback. The best ratings all year were Warrior games, couldn't risk it.

weak call? are you serious? that was the worst defense ever. his arm was completely reaching in and making contact with curry, curry just raised up his arms and it was as obvious of a foul as you are going to get, he didn't even do the arm swing rip move that KD always does. you seriously dont know shit about ball, stick to posting in the OTC

Can you relax? I said it was a damn foul but it was still a weak call to make with 90 seconds left in a game 7.

that will be called a foul every time, no matter if its a regular season game, playoff game, finals game, no matter if there are 45 mins or 45 seconds left. that is an obvious as foul as there is straight up. there is no arguing this.

It goes in and no foul would have been called. It was called, because Curry fumbled the ball (and this slight touch long long long before the release wasn't to blame fore that).

It was the right call, though.

Really weak call after the BS timeout instead of a jumpball but Ibaka has to be smart there with 5 secs on the shot clock

bad foul by Ibaka

you gotta let him shoot it without giving him the chance to draw the foul

I think the bad thing about the sequence was that they gave GS the timeout instead of the jump ball.

They didn't call Chris Paul's 3pt foul on Curry in 2014 playoffs.

https://usatftw.files.wordpress.com/2014/04/curry3.gif

Than they called it when he did it to Russell Westbrook.

http://projectshanks.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/Chris-Paul-Russell-Westbrook-foul.jpg

Not sure if you are trolling but Ibaka had his arm OVER Curry's shooting arm.

Clear foul as you can get. If the refs blew that call, then you might as well just play street ball.

OKC benefited from a weak call against Chris Paul in Game 5 of 2014 playoffs

http://projectshanks.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/Chris-Paul-Russell-Westbrook-foul.jpg

Yet the Refs ignored it when he did it to Curry

https://usatftw.files.wordpress.com/2014/04/curry3.gif

how is that a weak call

he clearly grabs Westbrook's elbow in that picture

He fumbled the ball because he was hacked all over his arm.

It goes in and it isn't called? He couldn't shoot the ball because Ibaka didn't let him extend his arm...

What world are you in? :oldlol:

I remember a couple years ago Jeremy Lin intentionally fouled someone while up 3 with like 33 seconds left. One of the dumbest fouls I've ever seen. That directly cost them the game. And the crazy thing is it was done so casually. It felt like I was the only one that reacted to it.

Also Dennis Rodman in game 7 of the 1988 finals. Pistons came all the way back and got it down to 2 with a minute left and for no reason he ran by and fouled I think Byron Scott bringing the ball up the court for 2 freethrows. Everytime I go back and rewatch this game it kills me because they were so close.

The irony is this used to be Durant's move. His rip through for a weak call usually.

Of all the shooting fouls an official is tasked with calling (or not calling) each game, that one had to be among the easiest to make.

That's as obvious as it gets. Ibaka fouled him twice on one jumpshot... First by grabbing his shooting arm while he's going up and then again on the release. 10/10 times that gets called rather if it's the preseason, a December game, or Game 7 of the NBA Finals.

btw, how often does Ibaka foul 3pt shooters? I swear he did it at least three times in the playoffs, two of them for sure on crucial plays (that Steph shot and the Aldridge 3pter).

I'm not saying it wasn't a foul, I'm just saying the fumble magnified the touch. If he follows through and makes it I doubt anything happens. Still dumb play by Ibaka.

Yeah. It's a fairly obvious foul. Ibaka has to play smarter in those situations, even though he balled his ass off in the previous games. Curry might be the best shooter ever but you take your chance on that three rather than fouling him.

You have to be crazy to think that isn't a foul. This would be a foul even in the 80s. Yeah, Ibaka was dumb but a dumb foul still a foul

In what way is that a rip through?

He is dribbling towards the basket and raises up on his shot. He gets hacked.

Do you know what a rip through is? :oldlol:
