Remember when Team USA lost the world games and came home with the Bronze for the Olympics?

Everyone kept bagging on how USA players have no fundamental and that they are falling behind the rest of the world in young player development. Its funny because a shooter like Curry is getting heated on because he is "Just a Shooter".

I honestly enjoy watching him dominate the game even if it was 30ft away from the hoop.

Just sharing this thought as I remember not too long ago, American basketball was receiving a lot of flack on developing players to be one on one, utilize athleticism and not skills, and no fundamentals. Now the face of the league is all skills and players/fan is hating on him for it. You can never win everyone over.

Very disappointing when your top stars like Durant, westbrook, LeBron, Wade not giving the props to Curry that he deserves.

And he greatly benefited playing under the new rules. You cannot even play real defense in the NBA.

I think everyone by now has conceded the fact that he is the greatest 3-point shooter of all-time. There isn't much doubt about that.

People are tired of the media hype and him being compared to MJ and Kobe when he isn't half as good on defense and doesn't have the body of work that they do in the Playoffs.

But that is not his fault either... :coleman:

Don't see many players doing what he is doing with this new easy non defensive era...

This maybe true but Curry never compared himself with the all time greats. To your point is that the media has over hyped him. Cannot argue the fact that under the so called non-defense era, not many has done what he has done on the offensive end. Curry may not be the defensive stopper BUT new rules basically prohibits certain contacts and what is to say he may not be a good defensive player with the older rules?
