How tf does this just apply to black guys, white dudes don't get their hair cut? Dumb ass shit.
Invest in a ****ing edger, it's that easy. Oh and don't be retarded thinking you a professional barber, go slow and you wont **** up...that bad considering you've never edged up your own hair. And you're 18? Shiii.

Get one of these (http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Andis-Clipper-Pro-Professional-T-Outliner-Hair-Cut-Trimmer-04710-Professiol-/160426905051?hash=item255a304ddb:g:fSYAAOxy7btRyNB K) and a cheap handheld mirror. There are a thousand videos on youtube on how to line yourself up.
You're going to College soon right? Wouldn't be the worst idea to learn how to cut hair and get a nice Oster clipper/trimmer kit or something similar. Save $ by cutting your own hair and make extra $ by cutting others. Beats work-study.

do these cut well?
Yup. Just clean them every time you use them and use some clipper oil before or after. It'll cut sharp for years.

Getting lined-up is just what the name implies. The barber edges your hairline all throughout.

Ah, that makes sense. It doesn't have to do with that shaved line/part thing lots of hispanic and black dudes have?

Well yeah, it's your hairline from the forehead all the way to the back. But i guess most people focus on the forehead since that's the most visible and it grows back quickly making the straight line looked messed up since your natural hairline is almost always not straight. It's such a b1tch to keep it "clean" or straight because it grows back within days.
I used to get a line up but became tired of having to edge it up myself days after getting a haircut, so now I have my natural hairline.

That's a part.
Your hairline is left-right (ear-ear) across your forehead.
Don't black guys have that line/faux-part shaved in? Or is it natural when they cut their hair really short?
Holy shit I sound dumb old and white.

:lol
I've seen a lot of people have it shaved in or cut in, but again, it comes back to maintaining it...my barber recommends to keep it natural and follow the natural part.
From personal experience, having one of these hair cuts turns you high maintenance. It starts with the hair then you progress to having your eyebrows shaped and shortly thereafter you are spending equal time if not more than a woman does getting ready.

I still don't know what tapered means but I always request it at the barber.

The geometrically perfect edged up hairline looks so stupid
So unnatural
If your hairline is ****ed then it doesn't really matter what creative angles you cut it, you'll most likely be giving up more forehead to get it straight
I never understand why dudes straighten their hairline up that's halfway their domes
if your lineup is screwed just keep it short and fade it or something on the sides

Damn, $56? You can find cheaper ones on amazon, just make sure the reviews are legit. Plus these ones hurt if you screw up. I always scrape up the back of my neck when I line it up no matter how careful I am :lol
