Rubio has 3 more years left at a ridiculously cheap 12M a year

CP3 is on his way out of LA, sorry to break it to you

So who can you get for him? I would have said Kyrie before these playoffs but now I dont think Lebron makes that move after Kyrie's great playoffs (even if they lose in the finals)

Clippers get a more than competent replacement for CP3 and the #5 pick in the draft even if it's not a deep draft

I highly doubt Clippers can find a better deal, maybe with Boston but I dont see Ainge moving alot of pieces for an expiring contract unless he gets a guarantee from CP3

to go where??? please name one team that can afford him that will put him in a better situation to win a ring and its NOT minny so yea.....ill wait

Minny is still a very young team...that wont be ready to compete for a title until another 2 to 3 years AT BEST....cp3 by that time will be fighting father time for every minute he has left on those legs. Just stop it.

Spurs could find room for him as will other teams if they know he is available

Blake and Deandre have proven they are not capable of getting it done in the playoffs, CP3 tried with the Clippers and it didnt work

Not to mention that Doc is probably one of the worst GMs in the league and a grossly overrated head coach

CP3 wants a chance to win not a chance to keep running on the treadmill that is the Clippers

in order for the spurs to acquire cp3 they have to get rid of parker/give lesser role to parker/get rid of some of their depth ..............don't see that happening.

im still waiting for these other teams that can compete for a ring as soon as cp3 arrives.......

A pick in a shitty draft and a second-tier PG for one of the game's best PGs and one of the game's best pure shooters?

Sure, why not? After that you can trade a 2nd rounder for Kawhi Leonard. Makes about as much sense.

Trade idea is boo boo. Ninnesota will only achieve short term success by signing Howard, and trading Rudio for CP3. Howard and CP3 will be deadweight in the future in Minnesota, and Minnesota will be stuck with garbage ass washed up players.:oldlol:

:lol we have OP with his dumb trade idea and now we have an idiot saying getting cp3 and howard would be bad for Minnesota. Yes getting a top 5 pg in the league guaranteed hofer who's game will age really well and one of the best shooters in the league is bad idea.

You are slow as hell. I said Cp3 and Dwight will only give Minnesota short term success because both of them are old as hell now and will not get any younger in the future. You was probably born in the 90s with the terrible comprehension skills you showcase on this message board.

Dwight is only 30 and is already past his prime.:oldlol: Just imagine how bad he'll be when he turns 35.

CP3 alone for Rubio + 5th it would be already a bad move for the Clippers, and you even throw JJ too. WTF? You got at least put Lavine, future picks and Dieng to make it work.

Then to add the fact that CP3 is always hurt at this stage of his career deducts even more points from this trade idea. Minnesota is always bitching about Rubio being hurt, but CP3's even worse because he's an older player that's very injury prone.

This dumbass in here said that CP3's game will age really well. Not when he's always hurt around play-off time it won't age well. CP3 is turning into the Kevin Johnson of today's era.

Soon as Dwight and CP3 retire, the Timberwolves will either be a below average play-off team with Towns as a go to guy, or they'll go back to the lottery.

cp3 is pretty reliant on his shooting now instead of driving all the way to the rim which he'll retain when he gets older. A freak hand injury says nothing about his future longevity. They'll also still have Towns and Wiggins after those guys get old. Anyway, I mus rather have 5 years of contention and then become a average playoff team than be an average playoff team the whole time which they are for now.
