Remember, FIBA rules are much more strict on illegal screens

Curry will be lost w/o Dray and Bogut cross checking everyone

Have you seen Durant set a screen? Laughable

Westbrook can get to the paint and create easier

Better distributor, court vision

Better fit nezt to Lebron as the primary ball handlers

Also, dont be suprised if Klay gets the nod over Harden/Wade

Westbrook
Klay
LeBron
Durant
Drummond

^^. Lethal

Curry, easily. Westbrook taking the team hostage and chucking bricks isn't something team USA wants.

Curry could literally score 100 with a shorter 3 point line

International rules favor ball movement and shooting. I think the choice is obvious.

Both are great choices. But as much as I hate to say it...why doesnt CP3 get a look since he plays such great team ball.

And yet, ball dominant players like Lebron, Melo, Harden, Kyrie and Wade have been the top players in the summer league/olympics for the past decade

Isn't the FIBA 3 point line shorter? and FIBA rules favour shooting. That's why Melo is such a beast in international play. I think Curry will be fine.

Boogie will be absolutely lethal

A necessity too.. A true big bruising center that isn't a free throw liability

Curry shouldn't even go. Might be bs, but he might have an op on his knee just to clean it up before the season starts. If that's the case, he shouldn't be with Team USA.

Have any of you actually watched Westbrook in international events? :oldlol:

He doesn't even handle the ball, he comes off the bench, plays SG and focuses on cuts and pesky defense. Lebron/CP3 used to handle the ball and set everyone up, they will probably do the same thing again.

All of those guys are better shooters than Westbrook. You realize Westbrook is a career 43/30% shooter? He makes LeBron James look like Larry Bird. :oldlol:

Way better decision makers. Not stupid like Russ. And I agree.

Just let lebron drive and kick:bowdown:

I actually didn't watch much in 2012 (cept the finals). I watched almost all their games in 2010 Worlds. Westbrook was a turnover machine then. That entire team looked mediocre (probably due to inexperience) except for KD. That tourney was basically KD and then everyone else.

They are going to put a band-aid on that small bruise to cover it up. Otherwise, if GAG sees it he might pass out.

Let them both start. Westbrook wrecked havoc defensively in 2012, some teams just couldn't bring the ball up on him. His slashing was ridiculous, dude had some vicious dunks. He is a monster in these all star games / olympics. Curry offers the spacing, Westbrook can slash.

Steph needs to take it easy this summer.

Basically missed half of the playoffs. Team played better without him.

Lebron doesn't even need to play anymore in the Olympics....leave it to the young guys they got this. Same goes for Melo, CP3 and Wade.
