Why does my postcount decrease every now and then, when...

when all my recent threads/posts stay in tact/undeleted? Its kinda strange, I cant help but notice this trend, my postcount just dropped by about 100, and I cannot even find which posts I made were gone. I also notice this happens to some other posters too, it really makes me wonder whats happening.
